L.I. - Cooper - S.E. help...

At the suffolk county hearing the other day, Jon Cooper had a quote that he claimed was from smoking everywhere...It was from the SE lawyer or owner (not sure). I have never heard the quote and was wondering if someone can find it for us...

Basically in a nutshell SE stated that "ecigs are toxic and should be regulated".

Has any one heard this or seen it? please find me a link or something. Spikey emailed Coopers office to see where he extracted the quote, but they have not responded.

I checked all of Legal One's posts and found nothing. Lacey has said a couple of times that nicotine should be regulated (sort of). She may have been confused as having something to do with SE and her comments taken out of context... other than that, I really can't find anything.

Of course, I'm sick and can't totally think straight...

THANKS, Still waiting for Cooper to respond, I really think he took the quote out of context. If he does not respond i will see him on tuesday and find out.

I don't believe this was an SE quote - I do remember seeing it somewhere -

I believe it was a quote from some 'journalist' (and I use the term loosly, here!!!) in some random article.

Hi Vicks...that was not it, He actually played an audio clip of it being said, but the clip was cut at the beginning and end...so it sounded fishy! I think it was a miss quote for sure, another legislator(forget who) called him out on it.

I will see if i can get the sound clip...

I have no idea where that came from and quite honestly, can't ever imagine that even SE would say something like that. Never heard anyone from SE in writing or in audio say such things.

And if someone did confuse me for SE, LOL!

E-Planet--Counsel for SE never stated that at any point in time. That statement came from Rita Chappelle 6 months ago in a statement she made with regards to the FDA's stance on e-cigs that were being sold at a county fair.
