Hi All,
Been lurking around here for a little while and have noticed some threads on people using colored rubber bands to identify which of their cartos have which flavors in them and I thought I'd chime in with my method.

Have recently started using clearomizers but this method would work for cartos too. I purchased a bunch of different colored drip tips from madvapes - Anodized Dripper Tip - and use a different color of each of my different flavor filled clearomizers.

This also saves me having to switch drip tips or the little white plug tips each time I change cart, lessening the chance I'll break one of the little buggers.

I keep them all in a crappy little cigarette case I found at Walgreens for the princely sum of $2 and I'm good to go for the day.

I am aware this isn't a groundbreaking discovery but thought I'd share anyway :)

PS. I do not work for madvapes, obviously any drip tips can be used, I just really like these ones.

I could not afford the quantity of drip tips I would need for the amount of flavors I have in circulation. Here is an extra tip for us poor folks using the rubber band method :)
I purchased a bag of colored rubber bands and found that it contained 4 different colors( red, green, blue and yellow ). At just 4 flavors I was ok remembering which color was which flavor but that only lasted about a week until my second order of juices arrived.....and then the Lorann's flavors came in. I had more flavors in circulation than I had rubber band colors.
It took me another week to realize that I didnt need to stick to a single color and started using dual bands for each flavor. Cotton Candy might have... say, a red and green rubber band. I now put rubber band(s) on my e-juice bottles only if it has a flavored carto in circulation. I have 10 available flavor combinations until my next order.

I use Avery return address labels to write on... they are long enough to overlap so they stay stuck on the carto.... but then I decide to add a little bit of another flavor to see how it tastes... a little peppermint in the cotton candy.... a little doublemint in the coffee... a little vanilla in the espresso..... etc.... so I still wind up with mystery cartos....

I bought a package of rubber hair bands by goody- It came with 3 differnt sizes, teeny ones, these I put on my carto's/carts- and larger ones, these fit the bottles perfectly- I did get more than just 4 colors- and if I decide I am not going to refil the say 'blueberry' RIGHT THEN, then I will rubberband that carto TO the bottle- and keep them together- this especially works if I decide I DONT like a flavor but know a family member will like it and plan to give it to them- :)

But, I do like the drip tip idea- and DO have 3- each one is on its own attie and I that is a specific flavor- but I CAN take it off and put it on a differnt attie, which is where the rubberbands still come in handy.

I was in office depot tonight and saw a Brother p-touch label machine for 20 dollars and bought it. It is great for EGO cartomizers, wraps all the way around and you can buy different colored tape if you dont like default white. Will work for labeling bottles too, no more hand written labels for me yay!

I also use one of the P-Touch labelers. The labels don't last forever, but they are removable when you want them to be. Very handy to have around the house...

I can't take any credit for the rubber bands. I picked it up from one of Mistress Nomad's excellent video's.

Me either oldjoe, Mistriss Nomad sold me on the idea that ecigs were acceptable with her cleverness, intelligence and personality. She was the first person I had seen doing 'how to' videos about ecigs which included the rubber band suggestion.
In case she reads this Thank you Mistriss Nomad. :)

I was going to start a new thread, but I see that there is already one about labeling cartos. There are some good tips in here. What I do that seems to be working is saving the rubber end cap and using an ultra-fine point sharpy to write the initials of the flavor on the end. When I'm done using it, I just put the cap back on and can tell which flavor it is. I can only use one e-cig at a time, so the caps don't get mixed up. The writing can get worn off the cap if you aren't careful, but I suppose you could put a little circular sticker on the end then write on that instead if that becomes an issue.

So far I have been using the pen or sharpie on cart and carto's end caps but it rubs off. Also I'll scratch flavor initials into the side somtimes but thats just ugly. So how 'bout using nail polish, like color coding them. Red for Ry4, white for vanilla, Red&white for both. Then the corasponding colors go on the juice bottle. Ill give it a try and get back to ya.

I used my P touch label maker today. I use the clear tape with the black lettering. Even on a black carto you can see what's written and very inconspicuous. On the stainless cartos all you see is the small black letters. I abbreviate everything anyway so the label is small. You can barely see it.

If you really want to go nuts - buy a zebra M400 printer and bartender software.

Custom plate labels will hold one line of text or vial label will hold 4 with barcode.

I can print them at work, so I use these for carto's sometimes.

The rubber bands dont work well with clearo's, as they tend to make them break quicker.

The ptouch does work on these, but on a clearo its very obvious. There are rub on lettering kits and small stickon lettering (usually in the -sucks- scrapbooking area) of the local craft store. On the plus side, they also sell great organizers (pocket and mass storage) and most carry lorann flavorings.

Here's what mine look like. I write down the flavor on a piece of paper and assign a number to it.....I keep in my box of juice.
