How does everyone label or mark their kit?

I use a black 510

I have tried scratching numbers on my batts with a Stanley knife – to keep track of lifespan and good/bad performers. I also tried scratching a code on my atts – more for flavour but also to know age, monitor performance.

For carts I use sticky labels/coloured dots but they easily peel off so far from ideal solution

So what do you guys use?

I use Ziploc Snack size baggies. I put the bottle, atty and cart in together. I reserve an atty and cart for each flavor, so I don't have to keep cleaning them between flavors.

This isn't my pic, but you get the idea. Picture a 30ml bottle and an atty/cart:

They are 6.5" X 3"

These are more expensive, but look nice and I'm thinking of getting a few:

They are 6" x 4"

I gave up on marking them, and got a mini-tacklebox from Wal-Mart ($3) that has 5 different compartments, each big enough to hold a bottle of juice and a few carts/attys.

There are also bigger ones, some big enough to hold fully assembled e-cigs as well.

But if you were looking for marking, you might get some pinstripe tape (available in auto stores and probably some hobby shops) in different colors, as long as you can remember which color is for which. If you wrap it all the way around so it overlaps, it should stay stuck for a while.

Likewise, if you have different colors of masking tape, you can try to cut a straight "pinstripe" and wrap it around. That'll come off easier than auto/model pinstripe tape.

One tip I saw in a video was to rubber band a cart and atty to the juice bottle.

You could also use a labeler. (like for office supplies)

Another idea is to order your parts in different colors. You'd then know which parts are older by color. Eventually you'll wind up with strange color combinations this way. :)

I have 3 atomizers but I don't use them equally. One of them never worked as well as the other two anyway. I'm not sure knowing the age of the part will help me much.

I think what you really want to know is how many times its been used. This would be a lot of work to track though.

go to an art store and get some paint pens. I get the ultra fine tip. I have white and metallic gold. perfect for making little dots on attys to line up the carts. and for writing flavor names on the little 3ml bottles from US Plastics that I fill to take with me to work.
they will write on anything, even carts, and it doesn't come off! Nail art stickers also work, and stay on surprizingly well.
I also intended to be organized and dedicate a cart for each flavor so I wrote OC on the bottom part (the part that slides into the atty) of my orange creamsicle cart, P&C on my pralines & cream cart, RY4, etc..but quickly I realized I am a hopeless case, I'm a mixin' fool, I am always adding a few drops of a different flavor onto whatever I'm vaping so my carts are usually a mixture of 2 or 3 flavors, like praline/choc/caramel (yum)

Hey you guys, I was at Walmart today and found little baggies in the craft section - 3" x 4". They are for bead crafting, but perfect for organizing bottles/attys and super cheap - like $4 for 100. Check out the pic attached!

The one on the left is a 20ml bottle and the right is a 30ml. The 30ml fits if you angle it slightly. You could also write on them with a Sharpee pen - for organizing batteries & such.

I found something pretty simple. Just get 3M colored vinyl tape from Walmart. Tape a color around an atty. Tape the same color around the juice bottle that has the juice for the atty. I've found that this tape stays on the atty even after rinsing in water and soaking overnight in Coke. And when you want to remove it, it comes off clean. No significant glue remains on the atty.

I do assume you are using a different atty for each flavor, and that you are always keeping the atty wet by always having a filled cart on the atty. I've found this to be best practice as well.

Thought I'd throw this idea out there. Nail decals is something suggested to me. Those little 'gems' you can get to bling your cell phone too. Sharpies and nail polish are an option. Little stickers of any kind are helpful - even when you might use the lables from canning and freezing goods.

You know those sealing units you can get to seal up like sandwich bags and things? It's heated and all? You can make your own bags to the right size and then reuse. Easy, economical and can be customized per person. This way you can make your own little carrying case that might be 'spill proof'. :)

have a good day all. ;):)
