Me again with more questions! I bought a Russian the other day and they built it for me at the store. It worked great for a while, but then after a day, the vapor production dropped off. I just put a fresh coil (2.5 ohms) in my Protank 2 and it is producing more vapor than the Russian. Does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem might be? Also, the clear tank cracked and I was wondering if it was because of the juice I am using? I am using 70% VG and was told that sometimes fruit type juices could crack a tank, although it does not happen with my Protanks. Thanks. Mark

The russian works on a vacuum system to bring juice to the wicks. Perhaps the crack is hampering the vacuum causing it not to wick properly

Yea they have PC tanks. Just unscrew it and put SS piece in its place. You'll know when ur out of juice with the 1st dry hit. 
Sorry I don't yet know how to add a link but there is a long list on here of juices known for cracking tanks. If you type that into the search box it will come up for you. The list of juices is pretty surprising.

What juice flavor did you use? also, you say they built it for you -- ya sure they didn't over tighten and start the crack and then it increase as pressure increased? my kayfuns dont leak at the tank threads, and they are loose enough, that if I wanted to, I could unscrew them with one hand... I think, thats the way they are supposed to be - not too tight.

There is a glass (quartz) kit for the Kayfuns that sells for 30 to 50 dollars online. I just use the steel section. I hate that they sell ANY device with a plastic tank. I should be able to vape any juice I want in a vaporizer.
Guess I have been very lucky, got a mix of mostly plastic tanks, doing a 10/90 mix of some fruit and candy mixes and never come close to cracking a tank...

I put a juice, strong Cinnamon, that a group and myself were sampling in a brand new Kanger T3S. It turned cloudy in just a few hours. Never had one crack as a result of juice.
All our plastic tanks are now gone (PIF'd), with the exception of a few IClear 30s (next on the PIF parade) that came with Innokin mods.
