Ladies with little dogs, top knot bands, Dog Groomers...help needed!

In a constant effort to resolve issues and help out my fellow forum members I am sourcing the board as title says for anyone familiar with top knot bands for small dogs.

The more I look at Drip Tip O-rings, the more I believe they are not O-rings at all. It would appear, but I am not sure that a 1/4 od or 3/16 od rubber bands used for Top Knots on small dogs would work as a replacement to restore the seal of a Drip Tip.

If anybody has these small rubber bands...or...if anybody has a Drip Tip in need of a new seal, please send them to me and I will be happy to see if my theory is correct. I will gladly send the re-sealed Drip Tip back to the sender.

Better yet, hopefully somebody is in possession of both and can perform this task and report back to the forum.

I bought colored small (tiny) rubber bands in the hair section at Dollar General to mark the cartos. They might work if looped twice, and I have intended to try it, but haven't had a drip tip o-ring wear out or break yet. I'm not willing to risk pulling one off to try it.

Oh...that's sweet, but I don't think I need 100.....my family dentist is a family friend (he graduated with my brother and was our neighbor)....I think I may ask him if he has any and if they are the colored ones...if he does, I can share...If not, then Mooke....I'll send ya some moolah and we can share the ones from Amazon....

I never thought about PetsMart.....I luv that store....and at the same time, I am not allowed to go alone....I come home with new critters......

I finally found a needle small enough to pop the O-ring out without damaging it.....and good news...I think I found a workable if not a perfect replacement. So thanks everybody, I will be reporting back on this post in the next couple of days to update.

I love the two fat ones Ms. Plantlvr. What's funny is Smeagol and Loki watch their bed like it's tv. Smeagol purrs at Bender, he purrs back. Loki and Fry are buddies, he comes out and gweeks at Loki, and he makes sounds back.

Can anybody say KONG....they are the only toys my pit doesn't destroy. I do get her a couple of cheap plushies every now and then...she runs out to the dog run and tears them apart. Great fun for a buck or 2.

When I was younger and meaner....or more....ahem.....under the influence, I used to buy hamsters and put them in those clear balls and let my dogs and cats play with them. Funny thing though, the hamsters outlived my cats.....

Now I have a black lab, a pit, a 7 lb tomcat and a 17 lb tomcat. 17 pounder rules the house and has the dogs cowed into submission He never uses his claws, but he sure sounds scary LOL

I'd love the kong toys, but they will not play with anything that doesn't squeak.....as soon as the squeakers die, they don't touch them anymore....and I have yet to find any kong toys that squeak

My lab is that way. But then, she's 12 years old too. Pretty much if it isn't food or the pool, she doesn't care. If I find squeaky kongs, I'll let you know I don't believe there are any since the rubber is so hard...

I've been wonderin about those furry toys that have no stuffing....they say they are supposed to withstand any dog....I may have to give one of them a try they at least have 1 squeaker in them I think in the tail.....they were on TV for a long time and now they are everywhere.....
