My Lambo 18650 which is now out of the 30 day warranty is giving me trouble: it will not fire and gives me a reading of 2.8 v on the battery. Of course, I have tried different batteries and all freshly charged. They work fine on my other devices like the ProVari and give the expected voltage reading of around 4.1 v give or take a bit, depending on the battery. I have kept the device very clean and have even used an extension without a hole to prevent juice from seeping into the well with the spring loaded pin. As far as I can see under magnification, the area around the pin seems dry. Nonetheless, I have tried some contact cleaner, but nothing seems to help. Is there some magic trick that someone has discovered to reset the board? Failing that, does anyone know of a repair facility? I am wondering if it is even worth it. It would cost at least $25 to have it repaired and adding postage it would mean that I would have sunk $35 into repairing a device that costs around $50. Any ideas?
