You know, I wish there was a way I could get away with something other than pocketing my mod, but everything seems so ridiculous in everyday life(as a dude). First off, my place of employment isn't ok with vaping, and they consider "more than 4 nicotine events a year" as a smoker... So yea, not paying that quadruple insurance to vape openly with coworkers.

Someone, very well intentioned, recommended a maglite holster to carry a VV mod around, but I already can't stand when people have their phone in a belt holster... so that's not happening lol. Someone needs to device a camelbak sort of device so we can vape with the device hidden away!! You know, a little flexible tube you keep just inside the front of your shirt and vape on when no one's looking :2cool:

So you will buy a Provari and even be derogatory about those who choose not to but you won't pay extra money to vape openly?

Just Sunday I misplaced my halyard and my SVD with a terminator C landed on the floor twice. It's too long to fit in my pocket, even the deepest ones. I use it all the time, except in bed and lounging watching tv. When doing the dishes, when moping floors, driving... I never misplace it, it's always handy and never gets lost or damaged. Downside is: overvaping...

Generic works pretty well for me.

All I did was give it a quick yank, metal ring broke pff on eGo attachment. We talking same generic?

I need something that can take a jerk because I work a lot of concerts and go through tons of crowds of people. Hair, spikes, etc. can easily snag it. I saw you mention raves, so you have an idea. I have a small hope we're talking two different models. Got a link?

Well, what I meant to say was that I actually don't use it for crowded events (raves, concerts, etc.) or at a formal event with suits and stuff (weddings, wine and cheese events, etc.) and that I use it more for day-to-day things or just a normal hangout. It's this model: Vape It – High Quality Electronic Cigarettes and Accesories Lanyard with Ring for eGo Battery » Vape It - High Quality Electronic Cigarettes and Accesories But it'd probably break if it got a rough pull, like you said, which is why I avoid wearing it to those type of things. Sorry I couldn't be much help. :S

I vape all the time, which means I'm always holding my device. I get negligent sometimes, though, and find myself sitting it down, walking away from it and forgetting where I left it.

There are also times while driving that I'll tuck the device under a leg or allow it to lay in my lap. I only remember what I've done AFTER hearing the sickening sound of my ecig hitting concrete.

So, I'M that idiot walking around with a Provari hanging from a lanyard. I may look stupid, but at least I know where it is at all times.

I might add that it's not always feasible to wear my lanyard. On those occasions where wearing a lanyard is inappropriate, I clip my case to a belt loop and stick it in my pocket.

Why bother with a clip instead of just putting the darn thing in my pocket? My Provari slipped out of my pocket and fell to the floor while riding a bus one day. Fortunately, I heard it fall and quickly retrieved it. If you think I look stupid with a metal pipe dangling from my neck (or attached to my belt loop), I'd look like a mental patient running after a bus I lost my Provari on.

I use my lanyard alot when I go out. If I don't want my eGo dangling around my chest I tuck it in my shirt. A pack of cigarettes in my pocket might be crushed, but they were still smokeable. Snap my clearo off in my pocket and its over. A mod can safely travel in your pock, its the easily snapped off tank that has me worried

I'm thinking about sewing custom cargo pockets on my pants that would securely hold a mod.
