Large quantities taste different than small?

Hi all,

I recently brought this up on another thread but didn't want to spam the OPs original topic.

So, I have noticed from two different vendors that if I order a, say, 30ml bottle of my favorite juice versus the usual 10ml bottle I find the flavor and smell is WAY off. Even with shaking, putting it into smaller bottles, and so on. It's not my taste buds, those are working and all of my other small bottle juices taste normal.

Has anyone experienced this? Was very curious, and was thinking that maybe some vendors have trouble mixing larger quantities.

Yes I have. And I've then avoided those vendors.

In one case I ended up with 120ml of juice which I couldn't use. The vendor did act responsibly and replaced it.

But it does happen.

Sometimes the quality control leaves a lot to be desired. I wonder if large quantities are produced and small bottles are filled from a larger container before steeping can occur. You could get a supercharged juice one time and almost straight base the next.

It's probably also common that sample size bottles are filled from a mix that has been steeping for quite some time, while larger quantities are likely to be freshly mixed....

i bought 2 30ml bottles of the exact same flavor, pg/vg mix and nicotine amount, both came together in the mail. the color is noticeably different, and the taste of the paler one is much weaker. also, both are much lighter and weaker than the last time i bought it. i haven't contacted the supplier yet, but i think i am going to.

Thank you all!! I thought I was going nutty! So, how about this. Can anyone recommend some suppliers that they have NOT had this type of issue with?
