Hello I'm currently using a k100 mech with a purple efest 30 amp 2100 mah battery and am going to attempt a dual coil build with .15 total resistance which is like 91 watts. I don't know if my math is right but is that 5.4 mins continuous discharge? I need a 30 amp battery for that to be safe but I want a bigger capacity any one know of the biggest capacity 18650 30 amp battery out there?

Seems when you go high amperage you limit your staying power. The best and most recommended is the Sony US18650VTC4 18650 VTC4 2100mAh 30A Rechargeable High Drain batteries
The power you will be getting is actually 117 watts at 28 amps. Remember when they say 30 amps that is no for continuous use that way.

IMO the best battery for this application is the Sony VTC5 with 2600 mAh and 30A. 5.4 minutes run time is in the ballpark, but I think with 2600 mAh it's going to be less than that.

Keep in mind also, at 4.2V and 0.15 ohms you're drawing 28A. How accurate is your meter? At 0.1 ohms you're drawing 42A. At 0.075 ohms it's 56A. I have a $100 DMM that I've calibrated to a known good meter that I use for my builds.

Battery concerns are only one part of this though. I don't know how experienced you are with high power vaping, but I've found that a good, solid, dry hit at 30 watts is an awe inspiring event. At 90+ watts, make sure you know your gear well and understand the risks you're taking.

Vape safe :)
