No it wouldn't. Lasers are dangerous. Point one in your own eyes if you want but not in other people's eyes.

Did I miss the instructions difference for a 510 connection? If it was overly technical I probably just didn't understand it. I'm gonna try and get dh to make this for me. I am drill impaired. It doesn't stop me from putting crooked holes in all kinds of things, but this one matters more than other things.

Reviving an old thread

So I got my MadVapes order which included 2 of these laser pointers, and before hacking it apart I tested both of them; one worked great and the other didn't work at all. I decided to try and build the mod using the laser that doesn't work and naturally it doesn't work

What exactly would cause it to not work? Could it be something with the PCB board, the switch?

It would be a shame to lose all that drilling and dremelling work so I was wondering if there's any way to build the mod without the PCB board?

Can someone explain to me why this "test" is not working? At first I thought maybe it was because I was matching the positive wire with the correct positive on the PCB board but I tried every single solder spot and nothing will get that atty to fire. I took apart a working laser so everything should technically work right?

Also how am I supposed to figure out where the positive on the PCB board is?

It appears that the OP had pictures / images in his first post...but I don't see any. Is it just because this thread is so old that they have been removed. My curiosity in making a mod has kind of grown in the past few months and would liked to have seen the diagrams and/or pics of how to perform this.

I say appears as in the first couple of his post he is referencing image numbers?
