Oh and for me, dressing room at the Victoria's secret.
Something tells me that had nothing to do with vaping...

Sitting at my daughter's field hockey game last night with an Ego and Mini BCC. I didn't hide it but I also kept the vapor in til almost nothing came out.
My boss only smoked when I was around and always would bum a smoke from me when we'd go outside for smoke break. Now he just hits my vape as we sit in the office.
We've known each other most of our lives and were always sharing various smokables back in the day
Remember when it was common for you and your friends to "bum a drag"?

Ummm... does just wiping it off with your shirt tail count? >.<
Not according to my wife. Her pillow case is off limits too.

Oh... wait...

Yeah I live just a few miles from UT, we're in Travis County which has passed a ban on e-cigarettes in and on all county owned property.

STEALTH VAPING RULEZ!
I grew up in Texas, and went to Austin at least twice a month back in the early 2000's. The live music was great, the beer was cold, and the people were always cool. Then all of the great little music clubs started become neon-lit trendy little night clubs with electronic music booming out of them.

See my next post below....

Strangely, Texas is usually the other way around - always complaining about the Feds and suing them to lessen regulations and mandates. Hell, we can't even get texting while driving banned here. Odd.
When the .com bubble burst in the early 2000's, a lot of west coast hipsters moved to Texas because of the energy boom that was starting. Along with them came their political views and whining. Corporal punishment was removed from schools, smoking was being banned everywhere, and people were just allowing it to happen. My home state of Texas turned into a ....* over night. So, I moved to Oklahoma...

Remember when it was common for you and your friends to "bum a drag"?

In 1979 or so when I was still in the Army, there was this guy we called O.P. Gossett... Gossett was his last name, but we called him O.P. because those were the only cigarettes he smoked (Other Peoples!)...

This guy was ALWAYS bumming smokes from everyone... he was a real "He Man" testosterone laden SOB too... So one day I decided to put a stop to his bumming... at least from me, and I switched from Larks to Eve cigarettes... I don't know if they still make these "Lady Cigarettes" or if not of any one remembers them... But they had little flowers printed all around the filter, in real pretty colors...

Next time he bummed a smoke off me I shook one about 1/4 the way out of the pack and offered it to him!

BOY, He never-minded me and shot out of there you'd think I I offered to cut his junk off!

HAHahahaha...

He never asked me for another cigarette again...

I of course told everyone else in the barracks what I'd done, and while none of them followed my example, they frequently started replying to his requests with, "Sorry Man, I'm almost out... Go ask Mitchell, he always has smokes..."

Eventually he did start buying his own...

I vape everywhere I am hardly ever discreet about it I just kind of pull it out whenever I feel like vaping. I have honestly never had anyone ask me to stop I think it just depends on how and where you are doing it. I let a friends use mine at work with some Tribeca e liquid in it and some kid with Asthma started complaining about how it upset his lungs or something but besides that I have never had anything happen I think some towns are more leniant than others.

Yeah I dont know I thought it was a little ridiculous but his mom called my boss and noone can smoke e cigs inside of where I work. No biggie though I never vape on the clock anyway.
Wow... S*** like that wouldn't fly at my work. The guys I work with eat crybabies for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Happens to me too often. Anyone else?

Yeah, I was told I could not vape at the local Starbucks, outside at a table far from the door, because of complaints by other customers, about smokers. They see vaping as being the same as smoking. Anyone with a cloud coming out of their mouth is the enemy to them. Doesn't matter if it's smoke or vapor, they are the enemy.

I knew there was a long standing and protracted campaign by the anti-smokers there, and they would throw away all the ashtrays outside on the tables. They make no distinction between smokers and vapers.

In a local bar where vaping is specifically allowed and the bartenders vape on duty I sat at the bar vaping and an old woman, perhaps in her 80's, 20 ft. away sitting alone started putting on a show of sneezing and coughing as she glared at me with intense hatred. I just moved away from her, and told the bartender about her.

He said, "Yeah, she does that in here a lot, and complains to us a lot. We have told her the deal, but she keeps coming back."

I think I know why she was sitting over there all alone. Such a bitter person, and so full of hate... how sad that this has become her life...
