Such a bitter person, and so full of hate... how sad that this has become her life...

Working retail you find a lot of these people, I helped open a brand new store and on the first day I had a lady complain to me that the cashiers were too slow. I explained to her that most of them it was their first time running these cash registers with customers involved and it may take a few days for them to be comfortable enough to move at a faster pace. She exclaimed she wouldn't be back and we should hire more experienced people.

To stay on topic I don't really vape in public but I never really smoked in public either. I nab a few vapes at work here and there but I'm always outside when I do so anyways.

I've still never been asked to stop, or been caught while stealth vaping...

Today I PAID OFF MY CAR!!!
typepad-family-guy-sexy-dance.gif

I vaped at the car lot... I was handing them $2 grand they could care less!

I then drove to and vaped in the Travis County Department of Motor Vehicles (Vaping has been banned on all county property in Travis County BTW)

I then drove to and vaped in the Travis County Tax Assessor's Office...

No one appeared to notice, and no one said a word :D

I pretty much dont vape where smoking isnt allowed. The only exception is in public restrooms. I simply go into a stall and take a few hits and have never been noticed. My brother is crazy! He will take a puff pretty much ANYWHERE. The other day we were walking thru Cabelas and he stepped down an isle and took a few puffs then put it away.

My son's car. He doesn't like the smell,,,,,,,,

it's his car, so I honor his request,,,,,,,however, in my house (where he lives) or in MY car, I vape to my heart's content,,,,,,

the one that ...... me off (and I am generally very respectful of rules),,,,,,,,was at my doctor's office,,,,,

big signs in the parking lot that its' a "NICOTINE FREE ZONE",,,,,,,,,INSIDE MY CAR??????? Yep, they won't "allow" you to vape (or smoke) inside your own car,,,,,

Again, I'm pretty respectful of rules,,,,,,but freaking seriously? they are going to restrict vaping in my own car on their property?

I am currently looking for a new doctor.

ETA, I don't even vape NICOTINE! eye roll,,,,,,,,,

People are really that ignorant in a health-centered organization??

The mis-information is amazing. Time to get the word out.

There are actually many hospitals and college campuses around the country doing this in the last few years.

You can read this wonderful bit of garbage if you want...
News | National Tobacco-Free College Campus Initiative

I especially liked this little blurb...

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation has
published an excellent Q&A -- all about
TFCCI! -- with U.S. Assistant Secretary for
Health Howard Koh.

Oh, and as a side note, it's not misinformation or ignorance that is causing this.
It's all part of the plan that has been in place for decades now.

These are the two MUST READ links for every vaper who cares about what is going on here...

Granted, I don't practice the vape anywhere anytime philosophy that some here do - and I've only been vaping for 3 months. But the last & only place I've been asked to stop vaping was when I went to the 311 / Cypress Hill concert a couple months back. I was dumbfounded. :censored: smoke everywhere and I can't vape? Security guy's response was, "we can't catch everybody!" I gave him a thumbs up and said, "good job!" I then waited for him to leave and proceeded to vape for the rest of the show.

Edit:

Please no drug references ;)

yep.

I continue to vape in my own car, and if they say a word to me, my response will be "there's no nicotine in this",,,,,,

but it drives me nuts.

Rampant Antismoking Signifies Grave Danger

This is a VERY GOOD READ!!! Behind the militant Nazi-like anti-smoking campaign is the Materialist Manifesto, the thinking of which is responsible for the train wreck society has become in many ways.

When I was growing up in the 50's and 60's you never saw people get so nasty over smoking. They either smoked or they didn't, and no one gave it much thought. Now we are all about politicizing each others behavior in many ways and going after one another for anything we can.

Small wonder they are going after us for vaping too.

The OC
had a funny moment walking in a large crowd outside an NHL game last night...

Take a big drag... Exhale a Cloud...

from behind me I hear, "Ugh... second hand smoke!"

I casually look over my shoulder and say "It's not smoke" and turn forward again...

To which the guy behind me says, "Ugh... second hand vapor." and laughs.

it was pretty funny... a bunch of people around us walking, chuckled.

Vaping has become shockingly normal here in Southern California... I now see more people vaping than smoking on a daily basis.

BTW, vaped in my seat the whole game... just blew the vapor down... noticed 3 others in my section doing the same.

My Endocrinologist was thrilled back 3 1/2 years ago when she learned that I had given up 3 packs of smokes a day in favor of my PV...

Today Her entire clinic (including 3 partner Endos) has an open vaping policy, and 2 of their receptionists and 3 of their nurses have switched from analogs to PVs and of those 5 two of them eventually stopped vaping...

So now anyone that want's to can sit in the waiting room, treatment rooms, or even in the Dr.'s Office and freely vape!

Today, when I went for my 4 month check-up there were 3 other vapers in the waiting room of about 12 people...

All 4 of us were merrily vaping away...
NOT being obnoxious, or blowing huge clouds or vaping AT other people, but just doing our thang, and no one said a word, or even looked disgusted about it...

But, then again... If you're in the waiting room of THAT clinic, you've got a hell of a lot bigger problems than someone sitting near you with a PV.

It's the Politicians and corporations that are <expletive deleted> us!
Them and their pet paid for Dr.'s.

Because well educated physicians are Vapor Advocates! Both my Family Dr. and my Endocrinologist tell me all the time that they wish more people would switch!

DMV....I was standing outside looking at the monitor for my # to be called. Guard came out saying "You can't smoke here!!" I say this is not a cigarette. And she goes..."Well I see smoke so you smoking!!" I say ok.... So I turned down the voltage a lil bit and go stealth mode. Can't say I am smoking when you don't see smoke. I was also using a box mod....I wanted to explain to her but her tone was one of those "I don't care what you say Im right you are wrong" kind of tone. I do remember seeing some dude smoking a cig and nothing. Maybe cuz my vapor was pretty thick since I was ...... I had to stand there for 1hr I was just vapin clouds. At least I was nice enough to go outside....ugh that pisses me off all over again.

that was the second time i was told that day there. the first time the guy said "u cant smoke in the park there r areas for that" i said "this isnt a cigarette" and showed him. he says "yes it is" i say "no it isnt" he said agian "yes it is" i said "ur a dumb ..." and kept on walking and vaping.

Very interesting to see the different philosophies of various vapers. Some people could care less and vape literally everywhere stealth or not (someone was vagrantly vaping on a plane with no problems!?!?). Others won't vape at all in public. I'm in between, I stealth vape a lot in public, and if asked to stop, I either stop completely (and I'm always friendly and understanding with people) or just go into uber-stealth mode. I've only been asked to stop when people see plumes of smoke (not stealth at all) in bars and restaurants. Both times they knew what it was and and explained it was policy, "Sure! I understand, no problem!" ....Activate Stealth Mode.....
