Hmm that component video idea was bad, very bad!! The picture is awful and flight sim seems to perform slowly!! I did get my instruments all on to one screen and as I was establised on the localiser ready to land at Paris, France Flight sim CRASHED!!!!

I dont think using the TV port as an extended monitor is a good idea and probably not designed for games to span TV and monitor due to the different resolutions used on each screen! Performance will likely be alot better once I have that DVI adapter!!!

What is this thread all about anyway?

I'm just reambling to myself about how to get my 2 screens working with flight sim without the much needed DVI adapter that I have to wait until tomorrow to get!

The hooking the big monitor/TV to the computer using the TV port instead of the DVI port was a bad idea!

I have the port sitting right here but sadly no adapter to plug its VGA cable into the DVI port.

Ohh all right then! Your so eager to know all my flight sim problems! After I was changing the monitors over the PC wouldn't boot! Sure enough all the jiggling on the monitor cables made the video card unseat! I had to open the whole thing up just to remove the card and put it back in!! I hate taking it apart, I built it especially for flight sim with the intention of putting the screws in and forgetting about the insides but nooo!! There is always some reason to remove screws whenever I move the machine!

Last time it was the hard disc indicator LED, it actually goes to an LCD in this cube shaped case! The LCD screen is so weird even with the wire the correct way around its impossible to see what the disk is doing!

So I swapped the wire around and reseated the card and Flight sim computer burst back into life!! Then the mouse didn't work!! I had to unplug it and plug it back in!!

AAAAARGH!!!
