The thing is the regulators think the tobacco problem is solved, they have a plan that they think, if stuck too, will result in a tobacco free world by, oh I duno about 2099. It's called the framework for tobacco control.
Now ecigs come along and threaten to undermine this excellent plan.
They must be stopped because otherwise a new plan will be needed and it took forever to get the one we have now.
Do try to show some understanding of their plight, it's not easy working for the good of everyone, even the ones who don't want to be cured, and all on a pittance of remuneration considering the excellent and important work they do.

^Sarcasm, in case you couldn't tell.

Given that tobacco smoking is proven to kill you, let's ban it.
This makes more sense than banning e-cigs, where the health jury is still out.
Alternatively ban nothing, as prohibition of anything tends to produce more problems than it solves.
Want to piss-off an ANTZ ??
Tell them to get cigarette sales banned ... Then give us a call !!
:p

Another excellent commentary by Farsalinos, although he should use the word "cigarettes" instead of "tobacco".

I agree, though the misuse of or confusion between the terms cigarettes, tobacco, and smoking is something we're all guilty of at one time or another (at least I know I am, when I'm not being very very careful...)

Nope, ranting seldom does any good (except that usually I feel better after a good rant, lol). Hell, I just came over from ECF's "General E-Smoking Discussion" forum! But I do think we can do our part by being careful to make the distinction, when we speak or write, between smoking and vaping. Every little bit helps...
