I purchased a young june chrome lava tube about a month ago, and now I'm having problems. First the LT stayed on (firing the atty), had to pull the battery to shut it off, then it started killing attys somehow, 6 in just 3 days. Also when I first got it, 1 battery would last almost 24 hours now I'm lucky to get 8. I assume the electronics are bad, but does anybody have any ideas.

Thanks for responding guys, I have been using the unbranded protected ICR 18650 2200 mah 3.7 that came with it, I also just got my efest IMR 18650 2000 mah 3.7 batteries and I lost a atty with it. I vape at 4 volts or less, and the attys have been 2.2 to 2.7 ohms. I have been vaping over 2 years, but this is my first mod, so I'm in over my head here.

I also recently bought a young june chrome lava tube. I am not have the problems that you are having, but I am not happy with mine at all. I think the threads on the top are totally junk and were not cut correctly. I am also running it between 3.0 and 3.4 volts and it really seems HOT. The other problem is seeing that little screen, seems very blurry. I know I will never buy another one and I and thinking about trying to return the one I have. Good luck with yours.

Thanks. I wanted to know if you were using good batteries and you are. The only other thing you could do is take a cue tip with some alcohol and clean the connection good and clean the battery cap and threads. You might take a flashlight and look up inside to see if maybe juice got into it. Other than that the electronics seem to be bad. Is it still under warranty from where you got it? I'd contact the vendor to see what they will do.

Please post back and let us know what happens. Sorry your having problems. Things like that drive me crazy.

Well your batteries should be fine. I have to think it's electronics. Something in the chipset isn't working right. This should not be happening. I would contact the vendor and ask for a replacement. I think that after a month it might be to much to ask for your money back, but as they probably only have around $25 bucks into the mod itself they should go for it. Plus when you get one that works correctly you are going to love it.

Good luck and I hope they work with you. if not then I guess you should post their replies and publicly shame them. If nothing else you will be doing other ECF members a service by letting us know who to stay away from.

I have also had issues with the threading and it running really hot. I have 3 Vivi Novas and they will only work if I back off the threading so that the tank is loose enough to wobble - when I tighten it it reads 9.99 ohms and won't fire. Shorty extensions did not help either. The same tanks thread easily on my Twists.

This thing runs super hot and can't use any of my lower res heads, even at 3 volts. I went up to 5 volts with an atty and it was nice, but I generally keep it at 3.7 or below. Using my Twists a lot more.

i have a LT but mines from apollo, i love mine and its all i have been using for months now. But im thinking about the twist just for backup, how is it compared to the LT? And about how long will the batt last?

The Twist is great. It's just solid, 3.2-4.8 volts, good threading, constructed well and just feels solid in my hand. Honestly, I don't know why I got the LT - I like it, but it has just become a higher voltage PV for me to drip with.

I have the 1000 mha batteries and they are not too big and they last me all day. There have been a couple days when I was off and vaping a lot and the battery died in the evening, but 4-5 hours of steady vaping easily. I always carry the little case with a backup to be safe but never need it.

I'm also having problems with the threading, when I tried to screw on my vivi nova v3 tank. Have not encountered overheating issues though, I have not been using the lava exclusively. Would a 510 adaptor solve the problem with the threading?

The threading is not the greatest especially combined with crappy threading on some of the accessories.
I have a Young June and 2 Vivi Nova tanks and my V2 Vivi threaded on ok but my "V3" wouldn't go on at all. My attys and other stuff seemed to go on fine. Googling around I found out the Vivi posts sticking out too far can be a big part of the problem.
Since the little positive center post of the Vivi floats according to how tight the head is screwed on I took it all apart and screwed the base in by it's self which set the little center post at the right length, then I screwed the head on without going crazy tightening it. Now it's working good, it still seems like it doesn't catch and screw in until the last few threads but it stays in there solid and works fine. Also make sure an excessive Vivi center post hasn't pushed your device's post loose, some people have had to glue them back into place.
Hopefully this can help somebody.

The button on my lambo has been acting up since i got it. Sometimes it fires sometimes it doesn't but lucky i got it local so i can take it back soon before the warranty is gone. Hopefully the replacement isn't the same. I get the problem with Vivi Nova's on it where the connection blocks airflow too so i end up trying to bend slightly the vivi nova connection and it works.
