No, not any more. I have VS2's and VS3s. Early on, on of the VS2's leaked a little around the bottom where it's
threaded to the polycarbonate tube. It's a threaded fit with a silicone o-ring and I found out that if you over-tighten it it can leak. I backed it off a tiny bit, snugged it down again and haven't had a problem with it since.
With the V3's, you have to realize that the center post holding the cup actually screws into the base plate. I didn't know that at first. I thought it just pushed down with a friction fit, so I got some leaking from the center hole. When I figured out that it actually has threads and tightens up, the leak was eliminated. Now neither one of them leaks at all. I don't entirely trust the VS2 and I wouldn't carry it around filled in my pocket, but the VS3 has good silicone o-rings top and bottom and, along with the threaded and gasketed center post, has been totally leak-free.
Since I found out what was causing the leaking on both of them, they've been on my LT and my BB continuously for the last 2 weeks and haven't leaked at all except for a tiny bit if I flood the center tube when I'm filling them.
I haven't seen any
reviews on YT of the VS3. I saw some of the VS2, but the VS3 is a pretty significant re-design, enough so that you can't interchange parts, except maybe the drip tip.
