Wasn't trying to be funny or an ... about what I commented, just to set the record straight for anyone thinking otherwise..... I think they need to retract the "Made in the USA" status of the unit to read "Assembled in the USA"...... Unless the complete unit is actually manufactured in the USA it shouldn't be marketed falsely.....

It's really complicated..I think it is ok to list Made in the USA with a side note saying a few components are manufactured elsewhere and listing an approximate percentage.

Not really, no. I've never even heard of it before.

It's under the center pin of the 510 connector and isolates the pin from the outer part of the connector so it doesn't short out..usually it's made of rubber but it can be other materials..it's kind of like a gasket...

Edit: In the pic of a connector below it is the light grey you can see just under the pin and if you look closely it goes through the other side...
