poor some Liquid on the top of the unit, if nothing comes through its fixed, that simple
Thought I would post a copy of an email I posted to Rob, in which he responded that I had done the install correctly, as I had a question about it, hope it helps anyone else here.
I just installed the new leak proof parts and had a question. I hand tightened the new part on my GGTS, and then using a needle nose plier, I made it a bit tighter. At this
point I do NOT want to over tighten, but can visibly see a tiny amount of the black delrin plastic between the original hex nut, and the new larger hex nut. I am NOT sure if the two hex nuts should end up touching each other, meaning I would NOT see any of the black plastic new sleeve, or not? Not sure if I should continue to tighten the outside hex nut anymore to make the plastic disappear, but will not go any further until I hear from you. In the photo in the one page instruction paper you included it is hard to tell,
almost looks like both hex nuts are in contact with each other, if that is TRUE?, this would require much more tightening then I have done so far, as the resistance is getting quite stiff, and therefore I STOPPED, and decided to write you.
Macta,
I think I understand what you mean. You don't have to over tighten the part till the delrin part disappears. Just tighten it enough to hold. You don't need more.
Here is a picture of mine, which is probably the same as yours.

I read again your post and I understand better. You cant disapear the black nut by screwing more the new hex because plastic has a head and its nesesary to separate the old hex from the new one. This head cant disapeared. If you still screw the new hex the only that you will earn is to damage the plastic's internal threads. Dont use pliers as I said to my video because plastic will get damaged permanately.
So, unscrew a little the new hex and try to screw it again only by hand.
That's why we buy your product Imeo.. You make it so we can solve problems easily! I love being able to fix my own stuff and not having to send it back and wait...
Thanks a lot Wood my friend.
Really on the GG you can change everything. Front spring, button;s spring, front axis , fuse, connector, o-rings, plastics, button. Some of them exists on local stores and some of them you can order from me. But there is no way to send it back to me now after the machined threads I made to all GGs to have compatibility to updates
