He Mist, good to hear from you!!! One remark about your shining GG's: it is because you make pictures of them in the Lebanese Sun, nothing more, nothing less, that is why they shine better!!!

Hehehe...Yes Emonty, the Lebanese Sun has much to do with it. Imeo has the same sun from the other side of the horizon, and this is why he shines so much.

Mist,

Do you prefer the totally shiny look or the smooth artistic lines as a finish?

On the Storm, the lines (that I love to see) are more accentuated than on the GGT and GG previous models. You will still be able to see them very clearly even after shining it.(which is a necessity due to the black spots)

By the way, update on the "Autosol" that i use to shine the GG: After the third good cleaning, the black spots don't come back again.

spot on my friend: Deeper!!! Imeo you hear us!!!!!???

I have a real shiny Grant and a Trans with slight grooves but I have to agree with you two on this. Those grooves feel good and look awesome. I think the problem lies in the machining process. If there are any problems and the grooves are not perfect as they were on ours then the TS HAS to be shined to look good. Imeo does everything he can to bring us the most perfect product he can. I heard that he spent countless hours polishing this batch and his hands were hurting when he got done polishing the 1500 parts for the whole batch..... That is a lot of work to do!

I never said it in public Vapn but because you mention it I have to say that I have no hands now:D. I also feel a big pain on my back 10 days after the polishing. But there is no way to bring a stupid GG on market, never!! My style is perfection and I just cant do it, thats all.

Do you mean the very faint machining lines on the tube, visible in your signature pic?
I have those lines on my aluminium Slim, I really like the effect. It reminds me of grooves on a vinyl LP, it also makes it look like stainless steel in a way.

Yes those lines.

On the Slim they're almost invisible. On the GG Transformer they're slightly more accentuated. On the GGTS they're even more accentuated. A little more would be perfect.

Here...You can clearly see them on the picture below, in high definition mode.

Those lines didnt looked good on my last batch so I deside to shine the GGTS guys. I will keep this shiny look because most people like GGTS this way and we have to follow what most of customers wants, right?:)

I don't know how it looks without them, but I trust your taste and art and i am deeply convinced that you wouldn't release a GG unless it is more improved and more beautiful than the previous GG

But then, now I might have to compete with Emonty and get myself a new one :D

No need for a poll guys because I dont know what surface I will make next time, so if I promise a mat one and lines dont come nice again? Also I have to bring a standard quality so people have to know what they buy. Thats the reason that I will keep then shiny finish. Its more expensive of course but for one more time I will keep the price the same. I also didnt charge more money for the 4 extra holes on the front cap. I also will not make GGTS more expensive for the parts for the leakage. Much more work but price stays for one more time the same.:)
