the clearos are nice that u can see the liquid. but i cant get the things too stop leaking. i do not overfill. i have noticed sometimes the cone gets cocked and the catomizer doesnt line up with the little rubber tip inside. i have been very careful after i noticed this but they still leak. since then i use the echomizers and have been much happier.

the plastic on the regular clearos get hairline cracks and start to leak. you could do 1 of 2 things imo. get BD brand(has to be BD) 3ml syringe and cut to right length(info on youtube) and replace the cheapy tube with that. i went to fluxomizers from got vapes though. the plastic is much thicker and holds up better. havent yet had a leaking problem for the 4mths ive been using them :)

I found that if I vape at low voltage like 3.4v I get slight leakage at the 510 connector within minutes, but if I bump up to 3.8v it takes much longer if at all. My single voltage Ego-T battery is 3.4 and it happens quite often. With my variable voltage knock offs I can minimize the dripping and still get a burn free vape with the higher voltage.

I rewick my CE2/3/4/5 clearomizers and found that a stainless steel wick leaks the most, whereas a cotton wick leaks the least. Tonight I re-wicked a CE5+ rebuildable with a piece of #1/0 candle wick that I unraveled 3/4 of the length, then wrapped a new coil (4 turns of 34ga nichrome) over the center where it was just loose stands. Its sucking up my relatively thick 75% VG juice beautifully with no leakage even on the 3.4v Ego-T and I'm getting massive vapor.

Thanks for starting this thread; saves me the trouble of starting it.

I got my first Phoenix CE3 clearos yesterday, and I consider them to be absolute rubbish. One dumped its contents while it was just sitting upright in my PV rack, and it seems that just about every single one leaks from the bottom. I filled them with the syringe according to the directions.

Garbage IMO. The search continues. I think there are many Bulli atomizers in my future, and/or the RAT from DFW Vapor.
