My story begins as a happy smoker. My fiance hates smoke. I tried e cigs as an alternative and loved them! Mt issue was trying to replicate the flavor of cigarettes. It cannot be done! I have blown a ton of money trying several and I find that that tobacco flavored juice tends to lack flavor of any kind. You might as well find a different flavor and find one that you like and just readjust your mentality. If you do find one labeled as tobacco and tastes good it wont taste like a cigarette!

I always tell people who Im trying to get on e-cigs that you wont find a tobacco flavor that really tastes like tobacco. I dont think anyone can disagree. I've heard that some come close, but that doesnt count. And some folks say that there isnt a "menthol" that replicates a real menthol cigarette.
So, like you, I just tell them that its like switching cigarette brands. Most smokers have done that once or twice. I found 555 to be the one for me. I've been vaping it since day one. Menthol at night though, to relax.

I'm with Vapor Pete - no such animal. There are flavors that are really good though and satisfy like a cigarette. I can't stand the taste of cigarettes now. The alien visions Gorilla juice is good - there's a tobacco hint to it, sort of banana ish but very flavorful. There are a lot of good alternative flavors out there - it's just finding the one's that do it for you that's hard. I have at least 1,000 ml's in my freezer to prove it.
I found that for the e liquid to be satisfying it needs to have that Throat Hit that you enjoy. It has to be there or I look for a different juice. The flavor is definitely important but it must be combined with that correct Throat Hit. There are different types of Throat Hits, some just feel different than others. I think it's the right combination of flavor, nicotine level, amount of vapor, and heat. With that many variables it's understanding that it would take a while to find that "just right e liquid". Those are the e liquids that you always go back to, those "all day juices".
Coffee flavors were the only thing that got me over the cravings.I have no idea why,but the coffees work.
Have a friend that had tried e-cigs, and used the tobacco flavors that came with it. He absolutely hated those, and decided that vaping just wasn't for him because he wanted something that tasted like a cigarette. I told him that e-cigs will not taste like a cigarette, and he said that if he can't get that exact taste, he's not going to switch. Last weekend I had him try my Mad Hatter Smooth. He loved the taste even though it is not at all like a real cigarette. Monday he ordered a bottle of the Mad Hatter Smooth and some mod supplies to build his own mod with. He's ready to take the leap now that he has discovered a juice that has a tobacco flavor but is actually better tasting.
I second coffee. Though I like the Tennesse No. 7 tobacco flavor. It has a hint of chocolate to it but not sweet. Dekang Camel is OK at 36 mg using 510 with geniune Joy cartomizer. It was terrible in my eGo-Tank.

I really like the Dekang Dunhill, but not because it tastes like tobacco. It tastes like Jasmine Tea. Similar idea to the coffee flavors working for some, tea does it for me. I think it's because it's the flavor of another familiar stimulant so your body recognizes it for what it's doing. I just wish it behaved in my clearos the way my other flavors do...
You might want to try some of the tobacco extract juices from VapeRite. They are excellent - just extracted tobacco juice with no flavorings or additives. They are the closest that you will get to a tobacco flavor. Good Luck to you & thanks for the post.
I have tried about 4 or 5 of Vaperite's tobacco juices and you are right, they are all very good. At least a grade above everything else out there. They have a very natural and smooth taste to them, no chemical or dirty harshness to them. If you are looking for a quaility tobacco juice you should at least try Vaperite. Their VR4 is one of my everyday vapes. Their other juices are also very good. I'm not affilliated with them in any way.
I 2nd the Virginia gold.. love this stuff.. although it doesn't taste anything like burning tobacco.
For me, I like Menthol Ice 18mg (Halocigs). That's my usual vape these days. I think I am going to try the coffee flavor trick. Even after 13 months of vaping I still have moments where my mind wants a cigarette and I start freaking out and "licking my eyeballs", so maybe a coffee based flavor at 24mg would be a good panic button for me. I think I'll give that a shot! Thanks for the idea!
After 3 months into this, I finally tried Vapor Station's "Tampa" juice, and it's about as close as I've seen to replicating that cigarette feeling. Then again, after three months without a cigarette and a million juices later, I'm not sure I exactly remember what a cig tastes like. A funny thing to say after smoking for fourteen years, but there you go.

I think most of us searched for that juice that matched our preferred brand of real cigarette. I quickly realized that with such a myriad of flavors available that it was stupid to find something that tasted so bad. Now I am using coffee flavors in the morning, Fruit flavors throughout the day, and desert flavors in the evening.
I am trying to get my wife off of the analogs now, and she is insisting on a tobacco flavor. Yes, I have spent some unnecessary cash on this issue, but the search is over... Bluemist Caramel Tobacco has won her over. Now I just have to find that ecig that she will want to use. Funny, she thinks my stainless 1000mAh ego is too big. I was hoping to hand that over to her and get myself a precise or Prodigy. Hmmm maybe an Icon for her and a prodigy for me? lol

I was very fortunate. I started with SmokeStik menthol cartos and loved them. I asked around for a close juice; someone suggested Halo Truepure. It was my first juice purchase, and it is still my all day vape.
