How many have gone full circle when it comes to tobacco flavors?

In some ways, I kind of feel sorry for the people who search for the "right tobacco" flavor and never hit it because they're searching for an analog.

What the OP here describes seems to be flavor-peace. That's a good thing! Tobacco flavors aren't analog-like and they won't be. But if you find that the flavor you're getting is pleasant and enjoyable, awesome!

I personally don't like the tobacco juices but I'm glad I didn't spend time and money expecting something that would taste like an analog.

No, you are not the only one. Reading this forum made me feel that I should at least try some of the many other flavors out there, but, bottom line, for 40 years I had the taste of tobacco in my mouth. I am most comfortable with that taste and for me, some of these flavors (555, RY4 etc.) come pretty close to the real thing. What has surprised me is that I seem to prefer the really cheap stuff! My vape of choice costs me $10.99 for 50ml. It feels a little shameful, like admitting you like your wine poured out of a box :)

First couple of weeks tobacco only with nothing that had much of any sweet. Then I started liking sweet more and more. Now I mix RY4, RY5, 555 HFC, and especially Wyatt Earp with American Spirit (because it is so smooth and doesn't tinker with the flavors of other juices) into those at varying percentages. I have TV waffles and occasionally vape it for a few minutes in-between the heavier juices but mostly use it to sweeten tobaccoish flavors.

I've been trying to like fruits, desserts, and others, sans tobacco, but even if they don't taste bad, to me, (most do) they just don't do it.

A little bit of coffee type flavors or some cream based desserts mixed with tobacco juices is good sometimes. I'll also sometimes mix in a hint of something else, like chocolate, cinnamon, mint but the base is always tobacco with some sweetness either in the mix or added.

LOL!

I've bought juice from:

Cignot
Totally Wicked
Johnson Creek
LiteCig
Nhaler
Janty
Diet Smokes
Innovapor
BlueMist
Liquid Xpress
eSmokeyShack
Halo
My Freedom Smokes
PureSmoker
Tasty Vapor
Liberty Flights

... and I still keep buying that cheap Chinese tobacco-flavored juice from Mad Vapes!

I did the opposite. Started with non-tobacco's, menthol (but without tobacco). Then I had some really good tobacco/menthol mixes that made me realize how nice the flavor of uncombusted tobacco could be after you'd been off analogs for a while.

Smoking a lot of RY4 and Cowboy Blend from FSUSA right now, Hypno Mist when I need a break. Not exactly tobacco, but definitely not fruit/dessert anymore.

Full circle? I still have not found a good tobacco flavor to start with! Would like to tho...

My Freedom Smokes and Vapor Station if you have not tried them have a great selection of tobacco flavors. MFS RY3 and Camel are very close analog and RY2 if you want a more no sweet at all vape.

Agree, Daedalus, I was referring to juice that has a taste/aroma reminiscent of walking through a tobacco barn in July/August! (Yes, Wisconsin used to be a huge tobacco State, way back when!) Yummy stuff, nothing like the "taste" of a cigarette ~ That's kind of a bad comparison to strive for.
Combusted tobacco is just not a good example of good tobacco taste!
DonDaBoom knows what I meant too!
When I opened my first bottle of Nicotiana Rustica Absolute, I instantly could see my Grampa and smell his pipe. That was pure joy, for me; my beloved Grampa died when I was 12. I've stuck with it ever since.

I am in the mist of this full circle right now. I have been vaping all the darker e-liquids and really enjoyed the deeper taste those offered.
I think part of that for me was my taste buds. I have put them through the test. Hot foods, alcohol, smoking and the like for many years. This past year I have really change alot of those habits for the better and I think I am starting to really taste the lighter flavors and can now appreciate the tobacco flavors more than I could in the beginning.
I am slowly replacing all the sweet flavors with tobaccos. I also think alot of the vendors have possibly stepped up their mixing abilities and have improved upon the tobaccos.

Kate51-I just read your recipe for that mix the other day in the DIY (I think), it really sounds phenomenal! Makes a girl long for the good ole days of Grampa or as I called mine, Papaw.

I hear FSUSA is about to offer a new one called "Purecig" ...very curious bout that one

It is ridiculously like an analog. My wife and I love it.

I happen to like the fact that many of the tobacco flavors are different than an analog. I have some tobacco juice that would be horrendous as an analog, but as a vape it is spectacular and far more rewarding than dry analog tobacco. Vaping is a big upgrade over smoking analogs, to my palate anyway.

I didn't care for most tobacco flavors in the beginning but didn't like the fruits or candy flavors either. I found that menthol was the one I liked best even though I wasn't a menthol smoker. Now a year later I'm finding myself liking tobacco flavors and use them part of the time but menthol is still my main flavor to vape.

I have done this.
In the beginning I wanted a flavor that would match my old habit as accurately as possible. I even researched bought hardware that would also do the same. The experience was frankly a waste of good money (hardware wise). Some people do learn the hard way though, I seem to be one of them.

Out of all the tobacco flavors i tried, i found ryu4 to be my preferred, the caramel & nut tones to it were just great, better then any analog I had tried before (terms of flavor). I stuck to that for a good month or so before finding a sweet flavor I found to be likable enough to all day vape, I vaped through that until i ran out of it and went back to the RYU4, the initial change back was actually not that enjoyable, and even though I do think I will always keep a few bottles of it around for availability sake, I do think I will be going back to the sweet/fruity ejuice as my main flavour of choice.

Try the RY4 from wordupecig.com. It's sweeter than any other ry4 I have tried yet still maintains that caramel/nut tone to it. I've been using it for a year, I keep trying other things and ry4 from other vendors but keep coming back to it for my all day vape.
