The Return of FUSION MAN!!!!
Man, you skills are Rockin!!

In terms of air flow, it's a real touchy subject because it all varies on the device's 510 fitting, be it exposed threading like the old Chameleon or Buzz, or an internal like a Silver bullet or Reo Or even semi lifted fitting like a Provari. You'll find users that get very little to no air flow with a Gold V2 to Too much looseness of airflow with a different device. Take the Platinum V2 for example, I had them developed to give the tightest of draws to compare to an actual analog. I didn't realize at the time that the device also plays a crucial role to the formula. So a good amount of Users was getting very tight draws and some even none at all. Popular demand brought it back for another run, but there was just too much negative feedback to have them discontinued.

You will never win Isaac as long as mods are out there. On a good note, the variety you provide should provide vaping bliss to even the most finicky. Folks one size does nto fit all :)

I am not a pro at this but I know when the draw is different. I am a customer of Isaac's and will continue to be. I have the same carto from two different orders that vape differently. That is all I am saying nothing to get offended by.

Hi bandmom

I really don't think anybody was offended by your post. This can be a difficult way to communicate at times because you can't see the others persons face or smile. And please believe me, this is a fine bunch of people on here who will do everything they can to make your vaping experience better and they would never insult you.

Every one of us has bought something that was better the last time we used the same product, me included. And I've tossed a few gold V2's also, but I'll still buy them and I'll continue to buy the Fusions and Mega 808's too. I guess with all the thousands of these things that are made, there's going to be some duds.

Your among friends here bandmom.

That's why I like adapters, I can regulate the airflow on any cartomizer with an adapter. That and if they get too airy I just use the cut off carto condom. I've had some that were very airy for the first couple fills then tightened up where I could remove the cut off carto condom.

So do I but I know as a rule that 99% of them are close to the sweetness I like. It's all good.

I agree with you about the adapters 5card. Their inexpensive, last forever and can make a big difference if they are needed.

I had tossed some Gold V2's a long time ago before I came to this realization and I still kick myself for doing that. Major case of dumbbutt on my part.

Switched is right when he says one size doesn't fit all ... but an adapter can sure help level the playing field a little bit.

would putting a dab of nail polish over a hole work? Even if it gets threaded in? Thanks.

It probably would work but that's where the draw would stay. If the draw tightened up after a day or so you would have to clean it out again. With adapters you can change the draw. Or with a cut off condom. So if it gets tighter tomorrow you can adjust for the difference and like I said earlier it also gives you a kind of barrier between your carto and PV.
There are a lot of methods people use.

Thanks 5card. How does an adapter let you change the draw?

The adapter will fit farther down or up on the cartomizer because the center pin is a tad longer. It depends on the device I'm using but if I thread it all the way on my PV first then the carto tend to stick farther out of the adapter causing more air. If I thread it all the way on the carto first then on to the PV the carto sits lower in the adapter restricting the air flow somewhat. Then anywhere in between those two positions weakens or strengthens the airflow.

I tried the v2 gold on my new buzz pro and it was a no go. I then tried the adapter extension and bam. It worked and change the draw to what i remember a few months ago. Thanks 5card. You rock. Now I remeber why I loved these cartos.
I'm glad that worked good for you. There's nothing worse than not being able to get the vape you want the way you want it.

Just remember to eat that danged whole grain toast with your danged oatmeal. Oh and brush after every meal. It's easy, just pop them suckers out and brush em with a good stiff brush or a wire wheel works good too.

Wow, lean something new everyday..Thanks 5card!...And here I just popped in to educate myself on Iken vape cartos/addys lol ( hated the clear DCC's)

For anyone that knows.....I do have a question ( keep in mind I"m brand new to cartos...Yea yea I know...slow).....I just bought a provari... Is there a carto you can vape on it at above 4v without setting off the saftey features/ error message?... And I'm assuming, as far as attys go you could use a stndrd and or HV to crank it up to 4-5 without alarms going off lol...Thanks for any info

The way to figure out the maximum voltage that ProVari will go up to with a certain atty/carto is to multiply 2.5A cutoff with the carto's resistance (ohm). If you use the 510 Gold V2 carto (2.5 ohm), you will be able to crank up your ProVari all the way up to 6V, even though I wouldn't recommend going above 5V, maybe 5.2V max. If you use an LR carto at 1.8 ohm, ProVari will let you go as high as 4.5V.

I would recommend using higher ohm cartos at a higher voltage rather than LR carto at a lower voltage. This will provide you a longer battery life between charges due to a lower amp draw.
