Hey guys! I just wanted to know which type of juice creates a vaping experience which results in the least amount of throat hit? All the juices Ive had so far have been either all PG or a mix (lowest amt of PG was 65%/35% VG from tasty vapor). This vapor is pretty damn smooth and im trying to find one which is the least abrasive. I dont really like the throat hit of all PG, it dries out my throat and feels like ... to me. DOesnt feel like a cig at all so why bother? Anywho, any suggestions would be appreciated.

The difference in them you'd have to buy different percentages of each to find out for yourself. Since you didn't do that all we can say is what the norm is as what you might have found. You may get a mild sweetness from the VG that you otherwise wouldn't have but not a huge difference, the flavor MIGHT be slightly muted in comparison with less TH and more vapor.

The only comparisons I've done personally with the same order and same juice from the same company was 20/80, 50/50 and 80/20 mix of three different juices. I preferred the 50/50 mix so I stick with that now but every one is different.

Oh and you may notice the juice being thicker as VG usually is. Usually not an issue and I've never had any with it but if it is a drop or two of PGA shouldn't change things otherwise as thin it out.

VG has some sugar in it, for some flavors that will definately enhance and give a flavor pop as well as volumes of vapor. The PG has more throat hit, I prefer a mix unless a supplier recommends a particular ratio, only because I feel that they feel that the particular flavor 'tastes' the truest at that ratio they recommend, others make the ratio your decision. Remember however if you sample something and like it, if you order it at a different ratio, the taste could be affected and not taste the same as you remember your "sample" tasting. Same thing goes for steeping, some if not alot make juice to order, they sometimes take a few days to weeks to meld together and taste their best, others are good from the start and develope as time goes on.

I've ordered flavors such as fruits, cinnamons and such with at 20% vg and found that ratio adds enough sweetness, but you can add more to suit your tastes. If you like the taste of tobacco I wouldn't think that sweetness would be something you'd want, but that's my taste. I prefer a 80pg/20vg ratio for most things and haven't had any problems...hth!

From what I've experienced, VG and PG seem to not only have TH that differ in "intensity" but also in "feel." PG only liquids tend to have a bit more of an aggressive, sometimes harsh or burny, sensation going down that really puts the "hit" in throat hit. But I've also found that "lower hit" by itself doesn't explain the sensation of vaping VG only -- to me the vapor feels a little bit thicker, wetter, and more substantial, even if it doesn't hit or burn as much, and for that reason to me feels a little more consistent with analog smoke. But I like a VG/PG mix (heavy on the VG) best of all. Of course, the nicotine level also plays a pretty substantial role in how the TH feels.

Has anybody else felt the same thing? Perhaps "throatfeel" is a broader concept than "throat hit" that would apply.
