nocigsnomore,

The battery technologies we use do not have the kind of "memory" issues that other families had. It is perfectly fine to start charging a battery, then stop, and finish charging it later. Likewise you do not need to "fully discharge" batteries before you recharge them (in fact, it's actually healthier for batteries if you "charge early, charge often" although it's not that big a deal; really only makes a big difference if it prevents you from discharging them too low).

Hi.

Going out for an hour or two. I don't charge while being away, but is it ok to leave them there and continue when I come back?

Sure. You can pull the batteries out of the Charger when you Leave and then put them back in when you get back. That Doesn't Hurt Li-Ion Batteries.

It's all about minimizing risks.... You could probably leave them charge and be fine, do the same while your sleeping, but it only takes 1 time for something to go wrong. I never let them charge unattended, vaping on fully charged batteries isn't worth risking the house IF something should go wrong.....

Even with the ones that say they cut off after charging, people still recommend not leaving the unattended. I need to start being more careful myself because it is just so easy to put it in and go to bed. I suppose staying on the side of safety would be the best. Great post. I'm going to be more careful.
