Yeah, I saw those on DX, but one of the reviews said :
Cons: Will not measure single cell voltage...2 s or bigger only.
So I figured not, and started a product request for a 1s, but that was a month ago with no response, no I'm not holding my breath...But, they are notorious for swapping manufacturers and not updating descriptions, so maybe you'll get a 1s instead of what that guy got?... Let me know, because if they do have 'em, that's a couple of bucks cheaper then the one I found, after shipping, I think...

I read a couple of reviews and saw that, then somewhere else it said it would... Like I said - I'm gambling a whopping $3.28... :) (Just don't tell my wife!)

Speaking of gambling.....I wondered if I could cut off the alarm and it still work. The answer is NO. Killed that sucker graveyard dead. Oh, well, I have a handful so one got sacrified for the advancement of knowledge.

I've been playing with the meters I got, I should be unveiling my VV LED meter juicebox next week :) Anyhow, If you hook up the total battery load to the third pin, it will turn on in 2S mode then you can hook up the atty wire to the 2nd pin and when you fire the atty it will read the atty voltage, when not firing it will show 0.0v on the first channel and the battery voltage on second channel. You can also hook ground of batt1 to ping 1, + of batt1 to pin 3 + of batt2 to pin 4 then atty to pin 2. When not firing it will give you each cell by iteself and a total voltage, when you fire the atty will read as S1.

Y'all are really talking about LCD, right? LED takes more juice.

LED. I'll measure with my meter tomorrow. I don't know exactly which display they are using, but I imagine not much current. I used a 5 digit 7 segment LED display that is a bit brighter than this one, and with all segments lit and powering the PIC and other junk on the board pulls less than 20ma, about the same as a fairly bright GaN LED or about the same as an LCD with and LED to light it. It will be used for information as well as a master power indicator so it will be off when I switch my mod off.

Interesting. Seems retro, but I'm hearing here and there that LEDs have made a comeback. Must be a nostalgia thing. I didn't have facts to go on, just that watches and calculators switched to LCD and I assumed it was to lower power consumption/longer battery life.

I wanted a Pulsar, back in the day ... pricey. Those old watch displays only stayed on for seconds when requested. Then, LCDs were always on.
Sorry for the intrusion. Just caught my eye. Carry on! :)
