I've seen this type of helping out again and again on the e-cig forum. Sometimes it's juice, sometimes battery or charger..or even atomizer on weekends, holidays, etc.
You don't see that kind of help and friendliness on other forums. Damn good group of people!
All the vaper are always ready to help one each other

by the way, this probably won't help you on easter sunday but there is a good e-cig vendor electroniccigarettesofhouston.com you might be able to arrange a local pickup in houston, I think I've heard he's done that before. He sells all the common parts and dekang juice

Yep, I've heard of him here on ECF. The gentleman that made the thread said that the vendor told him to swing on by so he could grab supplies before his vacation.

Wish I'd spotted this sooner...among the backup plans:
Tape 3 batteries together, AA, AAA, C, D, whatever you got, into a long stick, positive to negative, all in a row. Use 4 if they're a bit old or 3 ends up not working. Tape a wire to each end of the row of batteries, or paperclip, or twist tie, or tinfoil if that's what you have. On a 510 atomizer, wrap one conductor around the exposed threads and tape in place. tap the wire from the other end of the battery stick to the center post on the atty and vape away!

Also, if you're like me and have a box of wall power adapters for things you don't even know what they went to anymore, find one that lists the output between 3.7 and, oh, 6 V and 1-2 A (or 1000-2000 mA), clip the plug, strip back the wires, tape one to outside threads, tap other to center to vape. If you have a 401, a lot of times if the wall adapter has exposed metal on the end you can actually touch the center and threads (female atomizer) with the wall adapter center and outside conductor and vape that way.

My mods all look like hell, but give me power and a working atomizer, and I *will* get vapor!

SM, I feel your pain. I just had an experience similar to yours but would not have been able to take advantage of the generosity of the ECF member's offers here.

I recently was heading out on an offshore sailboat race of 600 miles that would take me from Los Angeles area down south 300 miles, around Guadalupe Island about 80 miles off the Mexican coast and then return to LA. Figured about 5-6 days total.

Trying to be prepared, I packed my Nicostick with 4 fully charges batteries. Also had a backup with 3 charged 510 batteries plus a charged PCC. Threw in lots of juice and a few backup attys. Good planning, huh?

Spent the first day and a half happily puffing away on the stick and then while standing watch in the middle of the night - pffft, nothing, nada. The stick no longer worked! Seemed like the constant moisture out on the ocean had somehow killed my primary device.

OK - so now I am down to my backup 510s and PCC. Stretching my available batteries for three to four days would be doable but lots of vaping was no longer going to go well. Further, if and/or when these batteries died, there would be no place to pick up snus, analogs or anything else. I started to look around the boat wondering what could be smoked if necessary!

Got through the next couple of days without any problems and then the wind quit! The trip was going to be at least a day longer. You have never heard so many prayers go out for favorable winds and mystery amp-hours.

Final part of the story was my last battery and the PCC finally quit for good as we rounded Catalina Island and headed down the last 40 miles of the race. Just then the skipper comes up on deck and announces he wants to celebrate the last leg with a fine cuban cigar. He produces some nice, large stogies and I happily puff my way back to the dock. Cigars are not my first choice as I would rather vape but they certainly tasted better than an analog and took the edge off for the next several hours.
