My in-laws sink has the hot side counter clockwise to open and the cold side is normal. I need days to reprogram from that.

That is exactly what I was thinking when reading original postChinese technology? They reverse engineer everything.
Well played, sir.CC, I just go with the flow.
(Sorry man, I just couldn't resist that one)
Auntie Clockwise is a terrible, nasty lady who use to visit us a couple times a year when I was a kid. She made great cookies but was quick with the paddle . She terrified meSo for me the problem is being left handed, none of this makes sense. Which is clockwise and which is anti clockwise?

Airflow control on top fill tanks. Grrrr...
Why is it that one brand's tank with adjustable airflow tightens the airflow when turning clockwise and another brand loosens when turning clockwise?
Am I the only one who expects air to be turned on and off like a water faucet? Yeah, I'm a little OCD, but what's wrong with having a standard?
My arms are too short to take oil drain plugs out from the top....It is really just a matter of perspective. If your AFC opens clockwise when viewed from the top, and this is a problem for you ... (meaning you prefer clockwise to reduce or close). You just need a different perspective >> think clockwise from a bottom-bucket perspective. Problem solved !
Same applies to those who strip oil drain plugs when lossening them from above (they forget or are ignorant if the difference in presidential reversing.
Looking at the tank as you're holding the setup in front of you is what I'm talking about. It is really just a matter of perspective. That Slant six sure did take a tonguing. Never broke down. Wished I still had it.Looking at the tank as you're holding the setup in front of you is what I'm talking about.
If you look it from the top down, you probably drive a Chrysler.
You might keep that in mind if you ever have to remove or install bicycle pedals. The left pedal is left hand threaded. This reminds me of the days of my Plymouth Valiant. Lefty was not loosey on left side lugnuts.
I never could figure out why chrysler did that
Life must really be challenging ... ;-)My arms are too short to take oil drain plugs out from the top....![]()
The more you pedal, the tighter they stay. You might keep that in mind if you ever have to remove or install bicycle pedals. The left pedal is left hand threaded.
I drive an F-250 and an excavator.....I'd need really long arms. In the Air Force, I worked on F-15s. Again, really long arms.Life must really be challenging ... ;-)
Don't see how arm length has anything to do with this ... Some of us ride motorcycles (which is where I see most folks have issue with which way to screw threads), but would apply to all threaded hardware (vape mod's, generators, airplanes, cars & trucks, etc).
