Lemo Drop Center post fell out

The center post on my Lemo fell out while I was washing it.
It'll go back in, but it won't stay.
There are no threads on the shaft on within the base for it to be screwed back in.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

How odd. The white plastic piece between the screw and the inside contact point doesn't come out on mine.

defective? I wonder if you could super glue that plastic sleeve back in?
