Hey guys,

So I just received my LEMO yesterday. I was LOVIN this thing, then after about 10min of use, I was getting terrible flooding and juice dripping out from the drip tip! I figured I did something wrong , so I built it again...and again...and again, all different ways but with no change wiith the leaking. I tried everything. I googled, I youtubed and even said a prayer. Ive neen building kayfuns, Atlantis's and even TS3 backi in the day but I cant figure this out. I lost probably 12-15ml of juice and im beyond frustrated. I could only think that the reason for this flooding/leaking would be a "seal" problem.....double, triple checked everything and then when I removed the fill screw, I noticed something that looked strange to me. I noticed that the "fill hole" wasn't directly centered only in the tank section, but also almost half of the hole was positioned underneath the bottom chimney.... now, with this hole positioned like that, wouldn't that let the juice continuously flow under the chimney and into the deck area?? I tried 50/50 juice, 60/40 and 15/85...still the same problem. im using a syringe to fill. fanyone can help me out, please do so.. thx in advance!!

Please post a picture og coil and Wick.

I also have this problem when tank is on the side. It was leaking from fill hole too on the side.

It doesnt do that anymore. You have to Wick the wells very good and tight with cotton

Hey Ozzybozzy, I don't have a build on it right now, but as soon as I build it today, Ill post one. Isnt that design kinda odd though? because since the fill screw doesn't sit flush once screwed all the way in, it will leave a little channel to flow under the chimney to flood..its just my thought....im most likely wrong, lol....

The Lemo's are pretty leak resistant, so it has to be an issue with the seals, the wicking or the tank. When I say the tank, I mean any chips in the edges of the pyrex glass. When you first build the Lemo, the first thing you should get in the habit of doing after putting it all back together is test the vacuum. With the tank assembled (before filling) and attached to the 510 adapter, cover the four airflow holes take a puff from the drip tip. You should get zero airflow, if that is the case, the you know all the seals are good. If you still have problems, then it comes down to a wicking issue.

There are different ways to wick it, everyone has their method, but here is a couple pictures of how I do mine, very simple and straight forward.

28g nickel for my DNA40. The wire is wrapped around a 6-32 machine screw which gives it about a 2.5mm ID. If it was kanthal I would still do this type of build, but with 26g and 6wraps which should come out to about .7.

No, you don't, that'll cause flooding. The Lemo is supposed to be wicked just like a kayfun
