So I want to buy a new RTA. I have had a great time with my Orchid v2, and not so much with my kayfun Lite clone (although this might just be a crappy clone. I bought it before I knew where to buy good gear. Ie got it from ebay) I thought I would just get a newer Orchid, figuring new must be improved, but I keep hearing how awesome the Lemo is. Unfortunately I haven't had a lot of time to research the Lemo, I know it has a standard size and a smaller Drop. Is that all the differences in those models? Size, or is the deck setup different? Where are the best places to buy a Lemo? My primary source didn't have them last I checked.

I haven't seen any pictures of the Lemo deck. All I every get is that graphic of the parts setup. Is it easy to build on? I'm still kinda green at building coils. Let's just say they work fine and come out how I plan them to, but they aren't the prettiest and are still very simply "designed." Nothing too complex, but work well enough for me.

Thanks to all who respond! Cheers!

Hi Riff,

I have both the orchid v4 and the Lemo. I love the Orchids but I find the Lemos much easier to build on. They are one coil vs. the dual coil on the Orchid and there is a lot more room on the Lemo deck. I also like the fact that the Lemos have an adjustable air flow. Flavor seems to be a little better in the Orchid though.

Here are some pictures of the Lemo with the stock coil (1.1 ohm) that comes already installed. Haven't rebuilt this one yet :)

I just got the Lemo Drop and have to say it's been a joy to build on. So much better than the Kayfun or Russian 91% I have. I believe both the Lemo Drop had the same deck as the full size Lemo, just a shorter tank.

My main interest was the large deck as I wanted an atomizer to experiment with a nickel build for my Vaporshark rDNA 40. Gotta say, this thing blows me away and I think will become my go to tank from now on.

I have a lemo drop and it is easier to build on and better than a kayfun light +.

Well thats if you prefer more airy draw and larger area to build on.

I don't have an orchid v4 but have read many many more complaints about it than a lemo.

Most of those were from leaking - its a dual coil from my understanding and you need a dual coil build or some people block the holes when using a single coil build but that seems to be hit or miss.

If you guys have kayfun, drill a hole in the chimney - I did and I haven't had a dry hit since. I stick a lol piece of cotton in the hole to prevent flooding.
It's a pretty big sized hole..
I was en route to getting either the Lemo or the aqua v2 or the subtank- but since I've done this- my kayfun has really turned night into day and I think I'm fine for now lol.
