Lemon Eliquid how to know for oil?

I'm buying some eliquid from a friend that is doing them he has an amazing lemon eliquid

He doesn't know much at all about flavoring, if their are Essentials oils based or no

So how can I know if his lemon eliquid its based on essentials oils or no

All of this is to avoid Lipid pneumonia since I think 2 persons passed away from that

You need to ask him what brand of flavoring he is using, as that would be the easiest way of finding out. If he can't tell you that, I wouldn't vape it.
