I bougt a Leo to 510 addaptor and the new Dual coil 510 tank from smok tech..... after I have confirmed with madvapes that this setup will work om my Leo Batt.

Recieved the parcell today, put it all together.....and nothing.... tried to swap out carts... 1.5 ohms and 2 ohms.... still nothing, took a fresh batt....nothing.

Please give me some advise, where must I start to look for the problem, or what is wrong???

It may be that the adapter is not making a good contact with the Leo battery or dual coil cartomizer. You could try fiddling with the battery connector end of the adapter or carto by prying up the center post with needle nose pliers or tweezers.

I love my Leo, but what I love about it is the Leo cartomizer (especially dual coil version) rather than the 3.5V battery. I think those cartomizer-surrounding tanks work best on mods ... although I just tried my Boge carto/VPX Tank on an inexpensive Riva-510 battery with success. It's just top-heavy.

Usually when you screw on an adapter, or a carto/atty for that matter, there should be a small gap between the adapter and the batter.

What this means is that the center post of the adapter is in full contact with the center post of the battery. If you screw on your adapter and there is no gap, it usually means that the center post isn’t making contact before the adapter bottoms out on the battery.

There are a couple of things you can do to fix this.

1) You can take a wooded dowel or something similar an try to push the center post in the adapter in the direction of the battery.

2) You can attempt to raise the center post of the battery. This is not recommended in that it is Very easy to short out the battery which could ruin it.

3) You can sand/file a very small amount off the top of the batter so the adapter can go farther into the battery before it bottoms out. This is something to think about carefully because you can take metal off easily but it is hard to put it back on.

4) The easiest way is to buy a second adapter from another vendor and put a note on your order to please test it before they ship it to you.

If you go with option #4 and the second adapter doesn’t work then you are probably going to have to do either #1,2 or 3 to get the adapter to work with Your battery.
