Let's brainstorm a WICKLESS ecig! (104 heads are better than one)

You could use a lightbulb or foil.hahahaha
I have actually tried using 100W Halogen bulbs as a heat source, running them at much lower than their rated power.

It works, but it's really inefficient. The glass takes a long time to heat up to the right temperature.

I was hoping this would make a "forever" coil, since the halogen bulbs have a very long lifetime (and much longer than that if you
run a 12V bulb at 3.7V) and since the juice never touches the coil. Perhaps with the right wick this could still work....

I know this is an old thread but I have an idea wha if you made non conductive capsules that you slide I to your coil (kinda a wick of sorts) that contained juice but with a air hole in it and it just heated the juices from the capsule heating?

That's a good concept brother! And it doesn't matter if this thread is old, I'm always trying to make it rich with vaping ideas! :p Nah, seriously though I like that idea, it'd be awesome to be able to slide your capsule in and vape away!

That's an interesting idea, basically a "sealed" coil, perhaps in glass or ceramic. (Then again I guess "vapin' donuts already used the ceramic method.) That's a cool idea though, your atty would light up too! That could be really cool looking as a plus.

Ive been trying to re imagine this as well.
squirting juice into a heated tube?
or as posted, the spray on a flat heated plate

I was thinking that as well, basically a high quality nebulizer (just like the ones in inhalers, or perfume sprayers like twgbonehead said), and simply spray the micro-droplets onto the coils! (then again I posted a thread on the http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-nebulizer-germans-creating-future-again.html , and it's supposed to eventually (doesn't exist yet) do this via battery power, basically spray it for you.

I think someone should jump on this idea! I think I will start looking into it, the only issue I see is finding a nebulizer that will spray THICK VG eliquids.

Sounds like more than one person in this thread has smoked some "recreational stuff" in their lifetime.

Along the same lines... "squank" e-liquid thru a mist nozzle into a super heated glass/ceramic tube and you'll get vapor. aka... hot rail
