Let's have a cartomizer discussion

Okay, so with these new G4's (filler-less), would you have to "top em off" like you do with the filler ones (to prevent burning of the filler). I would assume, no, because there is no filler. But, I'm gonna ask anyways.

As much as I like the idea of not having to drip often, I've found so far that I still have to drip into the carto and keep it moist. Which, kind of defeats the purpose of why I want to use them... now, of course you get more rips as opposed to dripping before having to top it, I guess that's why I am hoping these little G4's can do for me. Give me hours worth of vaping without having to mess with a bottle.

What do you guys think?

don't know as far as the g4's yet as i don't have em cuz the mail doesn't run on sundays think that should get changed... hate waiting on new stuff but with the dual coils you won't have to refill very often i can go a few hours atleast without topping off and that's when im at home and chain vaping. i would assume any xl carto would be the same because of how much they hold, probably even longer if it was a standard res xl carto. i did take apart one of my clear duals today and the wick material was a little burnt, unfortunately i ruined it trying to drip with it one of the coils got melted into the tube, oh well lesson learned. wanted to see if i could rewrape it and have it work still atleast

I've got a dual coil comin' also to try out, so I'll check out the longevity of that bad boy before I make any final assumptions. As for the XL's, I dunno about those, seems like a good deal of juice to commit to one cartomizer?

Man, I am pretty excited about these G4's, I hope they're at least usable (I'm not lookin' for a miracle, just something that works ) Oh well, I guess we'll see, huh.

i know dont remind me mine are on the way to my local post office actually they're probably already there.. the duals are xl sized... lol so your gonna have to dedicate about 2ml of juice to one.. ya me to i've been wanting to try em for awhile thats y i jumped on em so quick as soon as i found out lf sold em

ok so the g4's are vortex. was wondering about that. These unfortunately are similar to clearos in that you may have to mod them slightly to get good performance. Pull off the outer and inner tubes. You can dry burn if you like. Put center tube back on aligning the slits with the wicks but don't push all the way down. Leave some space between bottom of tube and connector (1 mm) seems to work. So the wicks aren't pinched too much and also not to loose allowing leaking. It will allow juice to flow more freely. Put outer tube back on and good to go. When they work there is no burning or need to wet anything until completely empty. Problem is I couldn't get them to work consistently so I moved on to the dual coils.

edit: oh forgot there might be a white filler material around base. just remove and throw out.

Apparently they must be very new, because when I searched on youtube for anything about them, I got these two videos Both completely useless lol!

lol oh ya that one in chinese was very helpful need a translater... ya they are new there was a site in china selling em and apparently they just started popping up here. this thread got allot longer then i thaught it would

well one of the coils still worked so i decided to rewrap it just the filler, i managed to throw away the wicks before i thaught of it so it's not exactly a working model but the draw on it is still good, seems like it if i wouldn't have messed up the carto this would have worked out great, going to leave it standing upright overnight and see if it has any problems with leaking and ill edit this

lol it's not etiquette it's mean. even though i know it's a joke and it was entertaining . that's why this forum dominates others in my opinion, most forums are about judgement, this one's about help. you come here and ask a question that's been asked a million times and noone talks **** about you doing so they just try and help you out. lol but i really don't care as far as racism. im not racist anymore then anyone else and im content with that. the ability to tell races that are closely grouped is hard to do so whatever. i hate people for who they are, not what they have in their genes,. if i i judged people on race i'd have to hate myself for bein sicilian givin the obvious stigma behind it. lol can't say it's a joke because im not you but im pretty sure it is and even if it isn't im my own man and have been for along time suprisingly givin my young age so i don't care

lol sorry but the only language i wanna learn is french so i can hit on women with it. chinese and japanise aren't exactly something i have any sort of experience with lol. so i didn't pay much attention to the language, actually i turned the video off after i started hearing it in a different language.. then again if it would have been some asain chick it would be different... but i know i know im a horrible evil person
