lol sorry but the only language i wanna learn is french so i can hit on women with it. chinese and japanise aren't exactly something i have any sort of experience with lol. so i didn't pay much attention to the language, actually i turned the video off after i started hearing it in a different language.. then again if it would have been some asain chick it would be different... but i know i know im a horrible evil person

The Vortex is sold by GotVapes and made by Kanger. It appears identical to the G4's except for the lack of filler material around the base. In theory this was suppose to stop leaking. I felt it gave an off taste as the prototype I had did not have that and tasted clean.
Good qualities were easy to fill and bad is that they can leak for various reasons.
So, the Vortex is lacking the filler material or vice versa? Are you saying that the G4 gave an off taste or the Vortex?
Does madvapes no longer carry the product? The vortex, I cannot find it.

The Vortex has it but the G4 apparently does not. I'm saying the Vortex gave an off taste, my prototype did not and I don't have a G4.
gotvapes is the only place that carries the vortex n they won't have it for a couple weeks atleast they're working on revisions

Did you have to regularily top off the vortex with more juice to avoid burning taste? I am pretty ignorant to the ordeal, sorry.

Never got a burning taste, some did. Seems some wicks can get pinched and adjusting the ring can help.

I filled one with juice, around the center tube, being careful not to get any in the center tube... is this the correct way to fill it? I am getting a weird taste, poor vapor production and it makes Boba's taste completely different.
I tried the juice in another device, it's not the juice.
I tried a different atty in the MOD I was using (which is new too), it's not the MOD.
I tried the G4 on a different MOD, my VV Monkey. It's the G4?
I tried it at 3.7v and at 4.0v and not only am I getting poor vapor and taste, I'm also getting no TH. So, is there something I am doing wrong? Anyone else have these yet that can comment?

Not having the G4 I can't comment but having the Vortex your woes sound the same as mine... seems like the filler may not be what's making them taste off. The prototype had no off taste and I was hoping these would be the same..

I can see how juice got in. You fill the sides of the carto and the juice slowly drips onto the wicked fillament and then you vape and the vapor is supposed to come up through the center tube. Well, the juice seems to be "flooding" the wick/filament and coming up the center tube...
The more I hit on it, the better it is getting, as far as vapor goes. But, flavor and TH are still fudged up.
I'll continue to fiddle with it, but so far, it's not lookin' good.

I've no clue about the wick, but, these are advertised as having no primer so I don't think it's that. Never having tried the Vortex's I cannot compare flavors, but I would assume it's safe to say that it's not the filler causing the weird taste. I dunno?
Just got mine too Levitas, I'm not happy at all! I filled the 1st one as directed, dripping along the side about 1ml, capped it and set it on the table. Filled another with different juice the same way. When I went back to the 1st one I was amazed that it had leaked a puddle the size of a nickel on the table! I figure that one's defective so I poured the juice into a third one (which also leaked overnight while laying on it's side).
I tried the two on 3.7 and at 1st the flavor was really good but went really off within an hour. I tried cleaning one using the same hot water and syringe method I've used on all other cartos and totally ruined it! The water wasn't boiling but it was hot enough to melt the plastic, my bad. So now I have two working ones and can't vape them because the flavor is terrible. I have no idea why but I'm going to report back to the vendor, they need to know. These aren't ready for prime time...
Have I been ruining my cartomizers by over saturating them? I'm thinking now that I should only put a few drops in, then do the same once i'm not getting as much vapor. Also, which is better, dripping on the end, or filling an end cap up with juice and pushing the carto into it?
i havent had any problems with the g4's leaking only flooding, except when the cap came off in my pocket, but a drip tip solved that and suprisingly didn't leak, the vape is hit and miss.. mostly miss, good at 5v though. keep reading they have a tight draw but all of mine are way to light of a draw
first one i've tried is working great, no leaking, decent vape, easy draw
using on a coneless ego battery, took the stock mouthpiece off and put on a standard 510 delrin drip tip with oring and it fits well enough with no leaking

i tried the vortex also and i cant say i was impressed. they look and feel cheap and after an hour of vaping, burnt taste. you have to fiddle with the wick to make them work properly out of the box. i dont know if gotvapes has anything that works fine out fo the box besides regular cartomizers.
