So, what's up with these CE2's? Are these something to be looking into?

I'm looking around at nhaler, is there another fantastic place to be shopping?

What about tanks? Are these novel?

I just started using them this week on my ego. I have found my new sweet spot. I rip the plastic out of the top and use a drip tip.

So, for the most part, CE2s suck and are a pain in the ... but, with patience and a little bit of work, they can work out (sometimes).

I know the G4's are new, but, how do you guys think that it will stack up against the CE2? (I ordered a box of these last night, the G4's)

Are there any other types of ce2s out there? Or filler-less cartos? I don't know why, but, I assume that it's the filler that makes my juice taste a little "off", though, I could be entirely mistaken.

Behind you
I've been doing the cartomizer shuffle for too long. I think I may have actually bought at least two packs of every 510 and some 808s w/ 510 adapters that can be found. For ~me~, not unlike your experience, the Boge at 2.5 or 3ohms is consistently the best balance of performance, taste, and pocket-friendliness. CE2s have never worked out for me outside of the tanks. Just too many leaks and accidents. Other brands of foam/cotton/wrap filled cartos, no-joy. The dual-coils just are too much for me in terms of vapor vs. flavor and just maintaining the habits. At first I thought I'd love the SMOKtech but my favorite juices were always muted and a touch harsh in them vs. the smoothness of the Boge 2.5 or 3...

And, like you again, I just ordered some G4s to try. The search continues but I keep plenty of Boges around which is part of the reason all the lead testing on most of my CE2s didn't cause me a panic. -Magnus

Excellent!

So, I hear that Smoke-Tech's are fantastic (though they don't have many HV options) and Boge seems to be quite popular as people tend to always revert back to them.

I am not sure on what the clearomizer is, but I think I remember some bad things being said about that puppy?

Being that I am pretty in-experienced with cartos, I am extremely excited and hold the highest hopes for the g4's (obviously, who wants to waste money?!) Or, at the very least, get to the bottom of why some juices taste "off" while using 'x' product over 'y' product. I too am a die-hard dripper, hell, I even drip in my bottom feeder if the situation permits :D

I actually have one Boge 3.0ohm carto, that is loaded with KBV Warm Sugar Cookie and it tastes pretty dern good @ 5v, imo. But!, and this is a HUGE but! One of my main vapes is Boba's Bounty, and as we all know, it is SUPER thick (100%vg) and I don't know how well a filler-type carto will work with this juice? So, for my first testing phase, I opted for the G4's (filler-less?) with high hopes that my journey can end with this innovation to the market.

Thank you all for chiming in, as I do take the time to read and carefully evaluate each response in regards to my wants and needs for a great cartomizer. Keep 'em coming though, this is indeed a conversation!

Much love!

I use Bobas all day everyday in dual coils at 5 volts. The absolute next best thing to dropping IMO. Though with my 100% vg liquids they're only good for a couple days before the flavor is slightly different. More pg juices will have a carto going a week strong. I have tried Ce2's and they do not wick very well especially with 100% vg juices other than in a map tank. I haven't tried the new ones though. I look forward to your thoughts with them and Bobas together.

What brand of duals are you using, thughes?

Is there another brand other than Smoketech ? I thought they where the only ones making the Dual Coil Carto

I find when using Boba's in ANY carto that you really have to fill them, let em sit a bit and top of again and again to get them sopping wet and full, or dilute it a bit on the first fill then its fine after that.

I have some of the new Giantomizers with the thick wicks and just the overall newer design Giants and I'm finding I really like these as well as the new Echo Cartos work super

you could try diluting the boba's bounty so it absorbs into filler better ? a little distilled water will thin out the vg allot

I use Smoke-Tech's pretty sure they are the only dual coils on the market. I agree with mwa about filling let sit then filling more. The dual coils filler takes it better then the boge cartos for sure! I would never dilute Bobas. That's a scary thought as its perfect the way it comes. Flavor wise anyways.

Smoktech makes a filtered style dual carto and so does Diamond which can be purchased at GotVapes. I ordered some Diamonds.. my very first cartos.. i'll review em when i get em trying them on a 3.7 Riva and a 5v passthrough.

DIAMOND Dual Coil Clearomizer : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more
