mwa- right on, I truly don't know? Smoke-Tech it is for the duals :) I've gotten many recommendations for them, though, they don't have any HV cartos at the moment, do they?

permafrying - would that dillute the taste though, as well?

a couple drops of water probably won't dilute the taste but don't hold me to that :)

I'm sorry, what does that mean? I tried to look it up but I'm fairly confident you don't mean morality rate. Something about spoilage while in the wick? -Magnus

Uh, well, I guess what I'm asking is how long can you keep re-filling it (Boba's) before it starts to taste nasty and you have to

1.clean it
2.throw it out

Smoktech makes a filtered style dual carto and so does Diamond which can be purchased at GotVapes. I ordered some Diamonds.. my very first cartos.. i'll review em when i get em trying them on a 3.7 Riva and a 5v passthrough.

DIAMOND Dual Coil Clearomizer : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

( MagnusEunson - see the guy on you tube with the Dr. Who Sonic Screwdriver E-cig? LOL)

I believe the Diamond is just a aftermarket name for a smoketech carto John Phoenix that Gotvapes is using for there company. I still think Smoketech is the only manufacturer of the dual coil cartos. A review wouldn't be necessary if these are smoketech which I believe they are unless you just want to do a review of the smoketech dual coil carto.

I use mine 3 days maybe 4 with bobas. Never tried cleaning them I just chuck them. I've read people do clean them and it works really well. I just like fresh ones the best.

Something to clear up for you about the Smoke tech Dual Coils - You keep saying they have no HV options. They are the HV option.

The 1.5 ohm are great up to around 6.0v (some juices might scorch at 6.0, but the filler won't burn and they are unlikely to blow a coil). The 2.0 ohms are probably the way to go if your batts charge up around 3.5v like mine do and the first few drags are actually around 7.0v. The 2.5's are probably what would be necessary for 7.4 volts.

I run the 1.5s at 5.0v all day. They perform really well at 3.7v but start really coming to life around 4.5v and up.

I was given a sample dual coil carto and it worked great. The only difference is when I use it I think I need to lower the nic level significantly. I guess two coils means twice the hit, right? I am not sure but it sure makes my heart race and gives me a buzz like when I first started smoking analogs. For me there isn't anything better than a Boge 2.0 ohm carto.

Hi Levitas, I was wondering what you decided on? Like you, I hated the 1st carto I tried and havent tried another since but that was almost a yr ago so I was hoping things may have changed since then. I drip with an eGo most days and it seems like im dropping 4-5 drops every 10-15mins which is getting old. Has anyones opinion made your choice easier cause I may be more confused now then I was before, but I may try the G4's.

PS. thanks for starting the discussion.

I ordered a box of those g4's and I have a dual carto being sent to me for a test run :)

I am conteplating ordering one more box of cartos but I haven't really made a sound decision (I dunno if I should just wait for what I got coming, or just bite the bullet and ordering another box of something else)

Were I to try something else, aside of the g4 and the dual-coil, and possibly not the Boge (I've used it, and though I sorta liked it, I want to possibly try something else)

That brings my next questions - has anyone used any ikv cartos? Are they good? What do they compare to? Why are they good/bad?

Where should one in my position order some cartos from?

I agree ! These things are awesome now that I've gotten to try them. I think they made a good choice for my first cartomiozers

Kudos to you and all the folks who helped me. See my Mini review here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...1784-mini-single-dual-clearomizer-review.html

+1 to all the recommendations for dual coils. I just got mine today so I can't speak to their longevity, but I love the TH, vapor production, and flavor. I got mine from MadVapes @1.5ohm. I've tried them @ 3.7, 5, and 6v, but like them most @5v. The only other carto I've tried is the Boge @2ohm and like those as well. I haven't noticed a difference in flavor using these cartos vs dripping.

Yeah mato, the duel coils are nice but they might eat more juice depending on how you vape. Get yourself a passthrough for home use and only use the batteries when your out.. that's what i'm doing.

The single coil clearomizers I got hit almost as good as the dual coils on my Riva battery. It's better than standard cartridges any day for flavor, TH and vapor. They hold a lot more juice too. And, it's very close to dripping flavor and vapor wise.

does anyone know if someone makes a bottom coiled carto like the bloog or elitevaporworks signature series 808, with a 510 connection?

There's the Echo E cartos w/ a bottom coil and aren't Joye cartos bottom coil? Not sure on that...

As for me, I mostly use my modded CE2 syringe cartos. I'm trying a 2ohm Boge now that is nice, a bit noisy but the flavor is good (surprising to me since I gave up filler cartos a while ago due to the taste).

The dual cartos sound good but the fact they are juice hogs and batt drainers may keep me from trying them. Of course if I were given one I'd try it.

At 3.7, I don't really think you'll notice a whole lot of difference in juice consumption between a DC a CE2. Crank up the volts and they do indeed consume juice. But, that extra juice consumption translates in to warm, dense, flavorful vapor. - I'm not really sure what to say about battery consumption, though. I run big batteries and tend to have extras. It isn't like I can drain an 18650 in a day with the DCs, but I can drain a 900 mah 18350 and probably half drain a second one. What do you use for batteries?
