i have been off analogs for about a month now, and I feel great! My heart rate has went down so much since starting vaping . When I was smoking half a pack to a pack a day my heart rate while running on a treadmill was 160-170 . Now that I quit smoking it doesn't even go over 150. Highest it got today was 145 that's pretty amazing. Hopefully with me working out and lowering my nicotine it goes down even lower . I have never felt this good :)

Been vaping about 5 years now, used to constantly cough and have on again off again bronchitis. I used to cough myself to nosebleeds sometimes, and once to a seperated rib. All that instantly went away when I started vaping. Now if I could only get rid of my allergies which are non vape related.

Good for you, man. :toast:

Just stay on the wagon, and your lungs will probably continue to recover over the next few months.

My story's pretty simple: I started smoking after graduating Basic Training for the Air Force. I was 18, and they made it kind of hard for airmen new to tech school to drink underage, but smoking was allowed, and you got outside breaks. This was in the 90's, so smoking was somewhat demonized, but smokers were not treated nearly as badly as they are now. I knew it was bad for me, but I did it anyway. We often don't make very wise decisions at age 18. ;) I've got an "awesome" tattoo, (inked at 18), that serves as further proof!

Anyway, I smoked off and on, (mostly on), for the next ~18 years, typically ~3/4 PAD. I made a couple halfhearted attempts to quit over the years, with both the gum and the patch. They didn't work for me, at all. In 2013, I decided smoking was too costly, (to both my body and my wallet), and read about vaping, so I switched. I went back to smoking in '14 after losing a job, and quit the coffin nails (again) a few months ago. I vape ~10ml/day of 6mg nic juice, mostly from an RDA, and that's more than enough to eliminate any cravings for a cig.

I haven't monitored my heart rate directly, but it definitely used to beat faster when stressed than it does now. The most noticeable things that've improved for me, (again), since switching back to vaping are my senses of smell and taste, and my lung capacity. I also dropped ~15lbs, since I've also been working out much more regularly since quitting.

Without a doubt, vaping has vastly improved my life. :thumb:
