The FDA wants people to assist them in the battle against e-cigs.

The last part of the FDA news release dated July 22,2209 states:
"Health care professionals and consumers may report serious adverse events (side effects) or product quality problems with the use of e-cigarettes to the FDA's MedWatch Adverse Event Reporting program either online, by regular mail, fax or phone".

Serious side effects include we stop smoking, they don't get tax money, clothes smell better, no second hand smoke etc.
Of course these are "serious adverse events" only to the FDA and Big tobacco/Big Pharm but serious none the less!

Shouldn't we all report these adverse effects via the online reporting link they provided at MedWatch: The FDA Safety Information and Adverse Event Reporting Program
Just a thought.

You know, initially I had just this idea. :D
However, upon further reflection, I realized that our government does not have a sense of humor. Accordingly, it is just possible that the FDA will announce that it's had THOUSANDS of reports on its website. Of course, there would be no mention that THOUSANDS of those reports were just designed to yank the FDA's chain.

In other words, it might backfire on us. :(

I think whether you report that you feel great or you don't report at all--the outcome is still the same. The FDA will persuade the idiots out there to think that they are better off on analogs than vaping. You wouldn't think that would be possible, but I had people at work puffing on an analog telling me "Oh man you smoke that ecig!? I heard it's worse for ya!"
