Thanks, Sun. And I agree that enough isn't done to support our vets who protect our freedom and way of life.
Not taking anything away from our brave men and women who serve today, but back during WWII, there was only
three ways a soldier could go home: in a pine box, severely wounded/crippled or the war ended. It was truely a life or death struggle.
In all the vets of all countries, from all wars,
there is a bonding that occurs when you have to rely on another for your survival, these guys and gals, all go forth into the battlefields to do what they can for love of country, and protection of the freedoms of family, and fellow citizens.
They go forth willingly, offering their strength, beliefs and
resolve to forge a better world for us all,
during their struggles, they have to rely on their fellows beside them for support, comfort, and often times for their very lives.
From this strong reliance, comes a bond which is forged in trust, reliance, and need, these bonds are the bonds of brotherhood.
Many of these brotherhood bonds are life long,
all of these bonds are strong, and treasured.
without their sacrifices, and resolve to do their utmost for us,
where would we all be now,
what would be the state of the world..........
All vets deserve the very best we have to offer,
they offered, and gave their best for us out there,
in often unbelievably hard conditions, and unspeakable
hardship, all governments should do a lot more to give them all
the comfort and security, and love, they all deserve.
