I am going to be a pita and point out that most of the chinese stuff is made from fine American scrap metal. At least it's getting recycled.

I think the REOS and the Provari are fine American-made mods worth the extra cash. I know I'll definitely splurge on a REOS in the near future.

I'm far less stoked on the mechs, rdas and rbts which don't seem to offer much in the way of increased value when compared with a well-made clone these days.

The best value in American-made stuff is obviously juice. I've ordered a few chinese juices out of curiosity and they are mostly awful. We are lucky here in the USA that we have such a wide variety of price points and flavors that we can acquire.

tank:
IBTanked 22m XL tank. Mr. OCD and Co. make all the tanks. Not sure where they get their borosilicate stock from. I believe that all of their caps are US made. And if you get a painted tank, thats all IBTanked =)
Pretty sure 100% US made

Drip Tip:
IBTanked again, using thier IBTipsy Rook. Designed by Mr. OCD and made in the states.
100% US made

I have two IBT's just like yours for my Zombie mini, both XL, one 22mm and one 18mm, they are nicely made.
IBT's Rook IBTipsy is the best drip tip I've tried so far, close second is their ceramic tips they sell.

I have, or have had and sold/gave away, a bunch of mods. Some were clones and some originals. SVD, MVP, Natural, etc.

But all I use is my Provari and Silver Bullets (all Made in The USA). Juice-wise I am addicted to Mt Baker Vapor from Washington.

Mt. Baker Vapor is awesome, especially for the price! Another washington company I've grown to really like (just for their flavors, they're pg heavy and probably the least vapor of any juice I've had) 2 peas in a pod. They have some amazing flavors, their apple (which they threw in for free) is so realistic it's not funny. It tastes like applejuice, with just a tiny hint of granny smith thrown in. Good-stuff, and I usually don't pick apple out, in fact I've never chosen apple lol.

Ok ,I know they're dolls but I'm a collector:)

Made in the 1950's by the Paris Doll Company in NY. They look as good today as they did back in 1956! Rita as she was called, is highly sought after by collectors. They stand from 24-29 inches tall and were made of hard plastic.

These are both examples of the REO Grand, both in black wrinkle. He has over 30 color combinations and it is simply the best mod I've tried yet. They are cheaper than most high end tube mods and I can't say enough good things about them. After trying a Reo, many people sell all of their collection to finance more Reo mods. Myself, I'm happy with just this one.

Ok so that's a REO too, I know for sure they're a good company just from the raving on ECF lol, I bet they are really good. They certainly look amazing, and that button looks perfect. There's quite a "club" on here for reo's I guess I should nab me one, I particularly like the wooden ones (My favorite is number 11: Spalted Maple  or the black wrinkle copper vein Reo Grand, I think I'd end up going with the copper just for conductivity and toughness, they are all beautiful though.) They make me want to give it a shot myself though! I have some nice oak laying around :p

View attachment 327584 sadly I believe this is the only US made mod I own, except for maybe the Vanilla mod

This is the only mod I'd need to own lol! v3tronix knows what they're doing. And I mean it when I say this is the ONLY telescopic mod I think that looks good, such craftsmanship...Did you paint it black, or order it black? I think I'd love to get me a matte stainless plain version.

Good luck getting a woodvil, those things are made of unobtainium. They only are available a couple times a year and sell out in a matter of minutes. Both of us have his optional button covers, so make sure you pick one up in your order. Also, since you said the copper, get the brass button. Kind of mandatory.

I knew somewhere there had to be a negative nancy, this isn't a "hate on china" thread. I agree with everything you said though, in fact I have an HCIGAR turtleship that's better than the actual thing, better volt drop and button. It's got pure silver contacts and a magnetic "spring". The authentics will usually be better though, my grandvapor Trident and Prometheus are offended by their clones though. Besides the absolutely beautiful machining on the real deal, they actually vape better too, the thickness of the metal helps retain heat for that warm vape, and the posts are welded instead of press fitted into plastic, you can actually see a ramp up speed difference. Plus the outer posts teeth on the clone both broke off on my trident after 3-5 tightens.

~I've actually lived in China for 4 months, and they have an amazing culture. But ask any true Chinese manufacturer and they will tell you us Americans are gullible cash cows to them, I've heard this firsthand. They do use our scrap metal, but that's usually if the manufacturer here in the states wants to send it to them, they make their own steel too, alot of it. I love me some fasttech! After a few failures and tricks though, it's basically my "blockbuster" of the vape world, I test out the clones to see if I want to buy the real thing later.

I've always been good at waiting in lines to get the first release :p, I'll nab me one for sure, I'm an experience ebay "sniper", in fact I have a program that will allow me to "setup" a purchase typing in all the required information before hand, so that all I have to do is wait for the start time. hehehe That copper is mine. It's a shame they don't make a copper button, I've never cared for brass.

Nice, I can tell they're high quality just from the picture. My grandma collects dolls (and even antique barbies from when they were actually works of art), and I'm actually familiar with the Paris doll company. They're so well done I swear they look at me when I'm trying to sleep haha! When I was a child I used to be a little scared of them because she has 1 or 2 in each guest room she has, and like I said they're so realistic that they have this real sense about them, my eyes would play tricks on me in the dark, I remember she moved one out of my room when I was little, once I visited when I was older though, I could really appreciate their craftsmanship, their clothes are the best part! They look like real clothes!

Mod:
Provari V2.5, Provape is pretty up front with all of their components and where they are from. I believe a few of the electronic components on the board are from China, but besides that its all US made.
Almost 100% US made

Tank:
IBTanked 22m XL tank. Mr. OCD and Co. make all the tanks. Not sure where they get their borosilicate stock from. I believe that all of their caps are US made. And if you get a painted tank, thats all IBTanked =)

100% US made

Carto:
Smok 3.0 ohm single coil carto.
Don't think any cartos are made in the states.
Most likely China.

Battery:
AW 18490/18650.
Same as the cartos, don't think any batteries are made in the states.
China/Japan

Very cool, that's a cool looking setup! One day I'll get a carto and individual tank setup, I particularly like the hand blown pyrex tanks a few Americans are selling. I totally agree with japanese batteries! They truly are the best! It's a shame japan doesn't make too many products other than batteries, because I trust them (unlike some Chinese products), they make superior electronics most of the time.

For my money the Super-T stuff is hard to beat. It's good and bad that they are 20mm though. I like it because it's a smaller thing to carry around but there are very few 20mm attys. I think the Strata is great! The machining is outstanding and it's been working well for me.
Some others I don't think have been mentioned:
Element mods
Modish Metal Works
SureFire Vapes
Patriot
Taurus
Zenesis
Cartel V1
Calmodz
JA Mods
Tugboat
