I apologize in advance if this is the wrong thread or if there already is a thread for this but i looked around and couldn't find anything like it.

Post a pick of your U-wick and share some tips and ticks!

looks great. haven't tried this yet. if I'm already building assemblies that wick well, how much will a really solid u-ey benefit me?

I'm surprised you aren't having issues with the wick bridging between the positive post and the deck. Other than that looks like a well done build! I'm guessing it meters out to around .8?

Yah I was suprised that it wasn't giving me issues either but it just barely fit under the cap without touching. The foggatti is a very tough build but it ended up working well. Yah it was somewhere around that. I dont even check anymore but I think it was a 5 or 6 wrap of .8 or .7 flat ribbon. - Uncle Chuck

Give a U-wick a try they are fun to build but not that easy. Make sure to cut your mesh so that the direction of the strands in the mesh are at a slat so that it bends easier and does not fold. - TsRodes
