ZNA update. It's going to be in an overnight FedEx packet to House of Hybrids tonight. I spoke to a lovely gentleman about options and went with the $70 repair/upgrade that will bring my 20W to fully current spec 30W. New updated board, upgraded connector, buttons, spring, gold contacts etc etc. along with a 1 year warranty. No brainer really!!

Return envelope included, so hopefully with their 24hr turnaround, I may have it back in time for the weekend.

Catching up on all other posts..

Sounds like a good deal!

You like a cooler vape too, where I prefer a really warm vape. All of my KF's are clones, and all of them seep slowly in the case where I keep them. They are on their sides, which is probably not the best, and I have to keep them with the airflow pointing up, or all of the juice drains out pretty quickly. The tank connections are nice and tight. I do live on a mountain, and Calve mentioned something about that being an issue, I think. But you're right, in regular use, they don't leak. :)
All of mine are clones but they've never leaked in the slightest , must be the altitude , Calve's were genuine but I think having them driptip down would've solved the issue .

I've been casually hunting for a nice, inexpensive stand that would fit the KFs now that I use them less. Just tanks, because my mods are always in my hand or by my side. So far, I've lost 5 - 10 ml from multiple KFs seeping at various times.

Hey, that's fantastic! That button issue is a happy accident. Serendipity.

BTW, I am still subscribed to stock updates from ElectroNicStix for the ZNA original. Got a notice at 1:05 PM that they had them. Didn't see it until 2:20 PM. Guess what? GONE! Wow.

9 or 12 Lipstick stands at Dollar stores or Fasttech, for bigger sized ones.

LA...while certainly not for display:D I use empty prescription bottles to store my KFL's and other attys...that way if there is a leak it's contained and easy to clean up. It's also handy for taking an extra filled one out and about. Normally I take my tanks off my mods at night..just in case.

Another great life-hack! I'm in a Git Er Dun mode, so I already ordered one from Amazon. But the bottles will be great for out and about. I was wishing I'd hung onto all those old film cannisters, but even they would be too small. Thanks, IG!

LOL! I use those film cannisters to store little bits of fishing gear in. :)

Chak they're running behind on the SVD 2's release , it should have released on 9/20 .

So it may be sooner than I was thinking. Cool.

I was just reading a thread on reddit about the SVD 2 , someone from Innokin posts there , he's stating that they have gone to all metal and beefed up the buttons as well as the threading and that the device has been designed to be repairable in key areas , don't know if any of that is true but if it is it'll be a big plus factor for it .

That would be a plus! Still, I'm leaning towards the ZNA for the aesthetics of the thing. ;)

Yeah I agree with that , I like the way the ZNA looks as well but my dam money tree hasn't sprouted from the magic bean yet or I'd get both . :)

Sorry for the low quality, but here's my first build on the Magma. Ten wraps of 30g kanthal on a toothpick for a reading of 2.2 ohm. I'm filling it up with juice right now.

    Er, I believe that's a Veritas, not a Magma.

I knew I shouldn't have come back to this thread. I've had a Veritas in cart several times over the last couple of weeks, but have been able to resist. Thinkin' I'm going to order one tonight.

Makes me glad I got the originals. I spent a week up on a mountain (a few times) and they did not leak or act funny. But then we're talking only a few thousand feet, not 10,000 feet. I suspect you're not but a couple/few thousand feet up.

I've also let my authentic KFs sit by the wayside since getting Magmatized. I loaded one up a few days ago and I still get leaks going from A/C to humid FL heat. The only tank (other than bottom feeders) that hasn't leaked on me is the Gus Estia. And its tri-coil setup with juice and air flow control is very versatile.

Doesn't look like a Veritas Twist. Doesn't look like a Magma either.

Hmmm. my KFLs still have not leaked a single molecule. Odd.

It's a Magma. Voltron did a single coil build.

After further review, you are correct. It is a Magma. It looked like the posts were not in the center and it was missing an air hole. The angle makes the posts look like they are toward the edge and the coil covers the other air hole.

Yeah, this thread is contaminated with shinyitis - a highly contagious vaper bug. Everyone who stops by here seems to get the fever to buy new gear, even if they don't particularly need or want it when they first arrive they end up wanting more & more! ;)
