Great Product, Great Guy doing the Video.

I think I made it to the 17 minute mark......

Is it just me, or do you notice the "showmanship" increasing in his videos?! Used to be simple and to the point.. not any more, sadly!

I'm sure he's a good guy but truthfully I never was a fan. Just watched one of his vids a few days ago...he was making coils using a fly fishing reel (deadly serious).

I've kept my Magneto clean with alcohol but lately it still seemed weak. I remembered I have something called Never-dull. It's a great for removing polishing any metal. It gets tarnish you can't see. Used it then rinsed with alcohol. Threads are squeaky clean now and hits better. You can get it in a lot of places. It cleaned the black from the threads like nothing has. This is the stuff if your interested.

Thanks for that David. Added to my Amazon cart. Did you use it only on the threads, or other areas too? Do you have to be careful not to get it on metals other than silver? I'm thinking of the end cap on my ZNA with the brass spring and whether I'd have to remove the spring first.

The Magneto has a brass spring and contact. I used it on all of it. It works on all metals. The only thing it says to not use it on is lacquered surfaces. I thought the SS and contacts were clean. I was wrong. The black that came off surprised me. You can get it at auto part stores.

I have used Simichrome and Miracle Cloths for my fishing reels. I really like the Miracle Cloth the best. It is easy to use, and it works great. I've never used Never Dull before. Whichever polish you use, it must be cleaned completely afterwards. I would also have to see if they worked okay for this purpose. You might not be able to eat/vape after using certain metal polish. I would be quite hesitant to use the Simichrome especially. I would have to read about that first. The Miracle Cloth has a wonderful smell to them too, unlike most metal polish. They come in different scents. I think I mainly used lemon, but that one is hard to find. The coconut one is pretty good too. Oh, you can't let those cloths dry out. They must be wrapped up, and sealed.

Papaw.. got all fired up to put a build on the Veritas and test it.. It doesn't screw onto the Grand.

Goes in a thread or two and then gets stuck. I was able to screw it down onto a different device, but no go on the Grand.

I've put up a post in CH's thread asking if anyone else has had that happen.

Rogue looks and fits good, but I've put it away for the evening. :(

. . . The MVP2 battery though, does not last me half a day. . . .

You must be power vaping that thing nonstop. I've never heard of an MVP2 lasting only a half a day.

. . . It takes 3 hours to charge it. . . .

You realize that you can use the MVP 2 as a pass-through, don't you? I.e., you can still vape it while you're charging it.

Bummer....

Got it done, a little bit of elbow grease and a prayer. Back and forth through the threads. I'm going to watch some TV now to bring my heart rate back down.

Someone else on CH's thread had the same issue, and that was the fix.

Phew!

Pappy, I guess you could say I power vape it. It lasted longer, when I was using the iStick more, with the little clearomizers. Once I quit using them, the MVP2 was getting a supreme work out. The Kayfun just wasn't right for my iStick. I used the Kayfun more than anything else. I did vape the Nautilus Mini, but that isn't enjoyable anymore. It sits on the iStick now. Once I got the Kayfun, the clearomizers just weren't doing it for me. I do realize the MVP2 can be used as a pass through. I don't feel comfortable doing that. I charge in the kitchen, because my wall socket is full with computer plug in gear. The only thing wireless is my mouse. The MVP2 never lasted as long as others said their mod did. That is why I had to get the iStick. If the MVP2 is charging, I had to use the iStick. But as soon as the MVP2 got finished charging, I put the Kayfun right back on it. I guess I am wearing it out.
