Neither make the Squape r at this time. And I'm pretty sure this is a one and only clone experience for me.

If I were to get a clone, I would relegate it to the two I mentioned. They take a little pride in their stuff. If what I want isn't made by them then I go authentic or without.

    New Orleans , Louisiana
I'd go for some of the various NOLA sausage n gumbo too.
Gumbo Yaya with shrimp , crab and Andouille , yummy ! :)
And it makes for a good discussion point. Seems hcigar and infinite are two cloners that have the least amount of issues. Correct me if I'm wrong.
I agree , I stick with those as much as I can .
I'd say Bronze should be joining us...
Definitely , but LA was supposed to be my Sous chef . :)
    Yes, as bait. :)
Nope as etoufee or fried crawfish tails or even fried softshell crawfish , not forgetting crawfish remoulade or eggplant stuffed with crawfish and Andouille , hell I better stop now or I'll wind up writing a book . :)

yup...pretty much so... altho it helps to have a good leader they have "sharp" lips

That's what I hear. I have to use steel leaders in Canada. Too many toothy critters. Sometimes I'll use some 50 lb fluorocarbon for a leader but even then those teeth can go right through them too. Nothing more frustrating than trolling a $15 lure only to get sawed off. I don't mind the $3 Mepps for smallmouth so I go leaderless then, but it's only $3.

Oh hell no , we have some of the best seafood in the world here , it would be a crime to come here and not take advantage of it .

You got that right! Every time I go to N.O. or Baton Rouge, I at least get some gumbo. I love gumbo!

There's a place called The Cabin in Gonzales, LA that serves some awesome sausage gumbo.

Any time I go to the south I look for some good Brunswick stew and hush puppies
