Bronze there are a few squonking mods out now. Reo is the most widely known of course, and for good reason.

Geyscano, and some sort of Vapor Flask are out. Plus lots of private modders have their products out as well. Some of them are rather pricey.
I'm talking regulated bottom feeders. As far as I know, REo no longer has them.

Forgot to share this with the group, but last week, I finally stopped lusting after the Goblin from afar. It is now mine, and I love it!

OH, there are several bottom feeding attys out. Plus Catfish/Chowderhead turns regular rda's into bottom feeding attys too. Cyclone with Cyclops by VA, Odin, RM2, RM3, RM4, RM5, RM6, and IGO-W, are just some off the top of my head. There are others too.

The "huh" may have been because the description you gave is the standard method recommended to build a coil on a Kayfun ( or Kayfun like ) RTA... the only thing new was the name you mentioned

At first I was installing/ cutting wicks, then setting in the chimney with the wicks lying down. Bridget sent a PM with a pictorial step by step that showed how she lifted the wicks strait up than set the chimney in place...

Papaw, that's the way I've been wicking my coils on my Kayfun 3.1's from the beginning. It works great.
My only problem with wicks has been sometimes making the wick too thick, which chokes off the juice supply and can lead to dry hits. I've learned to back off on the thickness of the wick so that it slides pretty easily through the coil, and that's about the right amount.

Yes, that method works beautifully.

some people just dont get it... ;)
I knew exactly what you meant... I even laughed when I read it :)

That's because you probably remember when....

I was just wondering where the '...Coffee Stain on my Counter...' came in?

I've used that method before and it does work well. I usually put the chamber piece on first then trim the wicks slightly above the chamber then tuck them in, but same results. Glad to hear you're getting good hits from it now. Cheers!

After I initially posted how well this works, Dusty asked that Bridget share her pictorial on this thread so others could see it. Bridget said no, because there was a coffee stain on her counter in the background. Dusty insisted that she post that method, but Bridget still said no. Thus, the little pictorial Bridget sent me became "The Super Secret Coffee Stain on my Counter" wicking method for Kayfuns.

See ? Simple and easy to follow, right ?

(and I'm still multi posting, Bronze :p)

I can't vouch for this and haven't seen any reviews... but at $85 it's something to consider Geyscano 50 Watt Box Mod (Squonk) by Yiloong - Eciggity

( may be found for less but I didn't shop it )
I was looking at that one also - can't remember where I got the link from (perhaps DavidOh). Kidney Puncher has them also and one guy wrote a review & gave it 4 stars. Geyscano 50 Watt Squonk Box - Kidney Puncher

I haven't finished reading all the posts here, but someone started a thread on this mod: Geyscano Box Mod (Chinese 50 Watt BF'er) | E-Cigarette Forum
Sounds like it has promise...

I'm waiting for the Goliath to come out in mass production - it's supposed to be an updated version of the Goblin.

Yes, I see, said the blind man as he picked up his hammer and saw.
