Yes, I've finally found my niche Sirius. The Reo, with an rda on top. I like 1.1-1.2 ohm builds. I prefer single coil, but some dual coil is also okay. (I like the Magma better in dual coil. The Derringer taste is better in dual coil) Still for some reason I prefer a single coil. But I do like the capability to do a dual coil, IF I want to. It won't be long, and I will have been vaping for 7 months. I have spent an insane amount of money already. But I found what I like, and some juice I like. I am much happier now, than when I started vaping, that is for sure.

I wanted Catfish to modify my Trident V2,..(IMO the best flavor producer and easy to build continuous coils in) but he said it would be very hard to do..Something about having to drill into the deck or something..I can't remember but I wasn't willing to sacrifice my one and only Trident V2 to take that chance..I still use it..Just have to use a tube mod or the Sig100 with that one.

I agree..Magma's are great..If I could just remember not to over drip and make a mess of my pocket tees...

Oh I would NEVER put my Magma in a pocket. (or the Vulcan for that matter) Vulcans have great taste, and vapor. I love both of those attys but I don't like having to drip in them constantly. Squonking was really a game changer for me.
Yep..but when the reo is having a bath and being recoiled I vape on other gear..hence my need for a back-up. I get another one and I'm done with tubes,..VV,..whatever else comes out. ;)

If I am going to be out for a short time, one Reo would be alright. But if I am going to be gone a while, I need two Reos. (for flavor changes) It was 87 here, and I left the Reo in the truck, with the windows closed, just to see what would happen. So far, so good. If I had done that with some of my other stuff, I can just about guarantee there would have been leaking going on.

You REO people...always have to bring a bottle with you wherever you go. :)
I have three always with 3/4 full of three different flavors..Since Rayon does not hold onto flavor as bad as cotton,..I rarley even need to rewick in a rush...Just pop another bottle in and go.
Then there are those nifty new 15ml long bottles..A sinche to refill a Reo bottle with. Hey even tanks run out bro. ;)

My Achilles showed up today. Wasn't expecting it till next week so it came sooner than I thought. Got it soaking in hot soapy water now. I'll fiddle with it later. That titanium sure is light. Nice deep juice wells. Very simple build deck. It's genius is in its simplicity.

Y'all need to stop raving about that Achilles, it's making me want one. I need about 2 more Reos, and 2 more rba bottom fed attys. Then I am gonna be SET. I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Papaw, I will try to remember to make sure the bottle is about 3/4 full, if I leave the house. Thanks for the input on that.

I'm really thinking about a new RDA, but there are so many options its mind boggling. My mephisto is way too airy and just doesn't carry the flavor (the most important part for me) and the tobh carries the flavor but when the airholes are lined up with the coil (as it should be) the cotton is over one or two of the holes so tends to leak when I get it hot. My favorite flavor believe it or not comes out of a tiny little guy, some cheapo smok one we paid like $4 for to flavor test my diy, but it is literally drip every hit as it has no well for the juice to sit in.

I'm feeling a bit frustrated overall, have "vapers tongue" every other day it seems. I can still taste the stuff but its just not as strong flavored as it feels like it should be. I think I need to experiment with some new flavors that are very different from my usual, make a change of pace. It may not be the rdas at all, but the fact I'm usually using similar note juices.

Always, I agree. I find more air equals less flavor. I can't speak for anyone else as it might have as much to do with power as anything. I'm a low power vaper and if the atty has too much airflow it kills the flavor for me. High power vapers might find they can increase airflow and get excellent flavor. I don't know.

I've been vaping on my new Achilles all afternoon and plan to do a write up sometime tonight. I can say that a good dripper is one that has direct-to-coil airflow. I think those of us who have tried different drippers over the years agree on that. The Magma, Veritas, Plume Veil, Achilles, others design direct to coil air. If being leakproof is important to you then this Achilles and Veritas are the best in that regard. If dual coil is important they are all good except the Achilles. Again, I will be doing a short write up on my Achilles experience later tonight and will make some comparisons. Any one of these can be got for less than $30.

General, where did you get your Achilles? I'd like to try one. I hope it's not from FT because I don't do FT.
I don't do FT either. Retic linked us to Frog in Fog and that's where Pop and I got ours. April purchased an authentic some months back from a joint in Ukraine. My understanding is authentics are nowhere to be found.
