Well the question is, does BK love it?
BK made the same observations about it as I did , it serves a specific purpose for him as it would me . The ability to use heavy gauge wire with no ramp up time . It's a new toy , that's always fun , but I don't think he loves it as much as his SVD and Genny .

Well I of course find my niche with the Reo, and bottom fed attys. The Woodvil is my favorite of the Reo mods. Of course it would have to be more expensive. I adore the one I got. Since it is a mech, it isn't gonna have a chip go out, or anything. I have to do some light maintenance on it every few days, but it is all I plan on concentrating on. But I still like to hear everyone say what they enjoy vaping on. I am definitely going to be saving for the next Woodvil run, I'll tell ya that.

My shinyitis has subsided quite a bit since the last time I posted in here, but I am not cured. Reading this thread doesn't help!

I don't know how anybody can be happy with just one or two setups. I have a friend who vapes on one device with one tank and one flavor every day. I just loves my variety. So, I may have missed it, but what is in your current rotation?

Almost every day, I vape up to 8 systems - 4 or 5 with HHV flavors :)

    Top and bottom fed dripping:
    Sumpin' with Nuppin'
    Reo with Nuppin'
    Nanos with Magma
    Nanos with Veritas
    Provari 2.5 with Cyclone

    Tanks
    Gus Lord with Estia
    VS DNA30 with Erlkönigin
    SXmini (M Class) with Erlkönigin

The SXM is the first mod I've purchased in over 11 months! I've been wanting to try TC, but the DNA40 just seems like a gamble. The SX chips have been getting great reviews and the firmware can be updated by the end user. I've only vaped one tank so far in TC mode, so it's too soon to tell if TC is for me. Even if not, the mod works great in power (watts) or bypass (unregulated) modes, so I am very happy with it.

I do still like my BF Odin, but am short a BF mod to keep it on. And I suppose I should see if any of my old toppers will sell on the classies.

As good as the tanks are, the only thing that beats drippers for me is bottom fed drippers. Thinkin' about making my own BF mod - again. But now I'm getting a little more serious about it. Bought some stabilized wood, 510 connections, a SX350j chip, and other doo-dads. Running low on excuses, so I should start making sawdust pretty soon. First attempt will be unregulated, for sure.

Wow ! Build your Own Stabilized Wood ? Way beyond anything I would try...

My DIY experiments seem lame by comparison. But I am close to something I've been looking for - an Apple Tobacco ! Despite what you might believe from earlier pictures, I have two ProVari, a P3 and a P2, that I use for flavor testing. Running a Veritas clone w/ single vertical coil on top of one, and an Achilles clone on the other. I also have a couple Kayfun just in case I really like the flavor, I can just load it up and vape away.
And, of course, my Reos. My Grands (2) are my everyday mods, and I have three VV Grands, a VV Woodvil and a Woodvil that I rotate flavors with at home. I am with you when it comes to variety, I cannot vape just one flavor. The Reomizer 2.0 (RM2) is my attachment of choice.
It is good to hear from you, BT. Don't be a stranger....

    Thanks!

I PIF'd one of my ProVaris to someone who thought he lost his rDNA30 and the other one has the Cyclone on it. I don't use it much, but at least once or twice a day I drip some HHV Peppermint Blast in there to refresh my taste buds.

My first attempt with making my mod will be with some mahogany that my dad left in the attic years ago. It was free to me, but I hope not to screw it up much.

Good to see you BT...Quite an impressive list of mods and tanks...I myself only have the one Reo lpg and the Sig100 just now..I'm over tubes and only have the one I started with..I PIF'ed the rest.

BUT..not too much longer from now,..(thanks to one of my Army family members) I too will be sporting a Reo Woodvil' :D
You know who you are,...and all I got to say is..You are one awesome person! ;)

    Woa, CONGRATULATIONS!

Rob had started one of his woodvil runs when I first started looking into BF. I was watching that development closely, but it had fewer mods than the most recent run. And I doubted I would be able to F5 as fast as his best fans. Right about then, pdib started making "those fling-flangin' mods what that ding-dang pdib's done been makin'" and I knew I had to have one of those - if I liked BF. So I bought a black wrinkle LP grand and have used it every day since. Same with pdib's Sumpin' - except when we go on overnight offshore trips. I never take Sumpin' on the boat with me :grr:

I doubt I'll be buying any more tubes, but these are purely mechanical and very reliable. I expect I'll hang on to them since I do use them almost every day.

Last time I checked there were still over 100 of the Woodvils available.
I know of two 'collectors' (were talking 30+ Reos) who sat this run out.

    just sayin....
This one will have sentimental value,..besides that..it's a huge chunk to fork over for a custom mod with atty. One I can't afford just now..It sucks to be on a fixed income..I never DREAMED I would ever be able to own a Woodvil. I had my sights on a back-up LPG as soon as I got settled in anyway Papaw..We are talking a $100 difference in a LPG w/atty and a Woodvil' w/atty..That $100 was just pushing it a bit far out of my reach.

I'll post pics and if allowed,..thank the previous owner for his generosity. ;)

I'm glad you're getting a chance to own a REO. I know you've always wanted one. I'm sure you will cherish this baby.

Yes, and a great run, too. I'm already in line for two other mods and I AM trying to slow down on the shinyitis. Oh, wait. Wood isn't quite as shiny, it it?

Yeah Bronze..Love my Reo LPG with RM4..I vape it exclusively now and have back-up parts for a quick fix..All but the 510 and I've not had a bit of problems with mine. I have a heavy thumb though and had to get a spare firing pin..I have a spare door,..and bottles with extra tubing. Spring and well,..one extra atty the RM2..But that RM2 is for a Reo Grand and not a LPG..It works but just looks funny..lol
