These modders are crazy selling stuff for that much money. Especially some of these "tube" mods. Upwards of $280 for a piece of metal?!?!

and thats for " average" originals.... some of the "special" ones ( engraved etc) go for 3000$
I can almost understand that because it is a one of a kind and someone is putting hands on hours into it. Mass produced mech mods should never be priced over $100 though

I did a lot of costing of manufactured metal parts/assemblies in my time. I'd estimate if a mech similar to a Neme was manufactured in America, parts and labor would be around $20. That would be an in-house cost. Then you have to pay for marketing and other overhead expenses which probably double or triple it. The Chinese would be considerably less.
I was guessing around $50 each, $75 tops, so I think I was pretty close. Thats around a 200% profit margin. smh
Well, the retailer has to make their cut too. Nonetheless, selling a basic mod for $200+ is an outrage. It's an insult to my intelligence and is why I would never fall for it.
at 280 a pop and the amount sitting just there..... 56,000$

Im not sure if he is or not. They are Mutant 26650 mods. Ive always wanted to get one but I think Ill stick with clones of that mod and support guys that care about producing an affordable mod.

I think I'd prefer one of these. They are better suited to the build I like.

Got the headsup for this over in VVAPV. Since some of you have used the SVD how about an SVD 2.0. Sound isn't very good but I thought it was interesting and I can see the market they're going for. Not enough power for me but good for most people and a step in the right direction.
